Those members who have not paid their dues for 1994, this will be your last newsletter. Your mailing label contains the date you've paid thru, if you have mailed a check or paid cash within the last two week, your label may not be up to date. If you have any questions concerning your membership, see Dave Griffith next Wednesday evening. I will have some books to sell, I have a few copies of LEHIGH VALLEY RAILROAD by Robert Archer, ERIE LACKAWANNA, Volume 3, The West End by Larry DeYoung, and DELAWARE & HUDSON Volume 2 by Plant. These books are available to members at $35.00 each. I have ordered the Bednar LVRR book but it hasn't come in yet, I hope to have it before next Wednesday. If there are any books you want, ask me.... I might be able to get it for you. We have located a new source and can now offer members PENTREX, JMJ, REVELATION AUDIO-VISUAL and INTERURBAN PRESS videos at reduced cost. I should have some lists available next week.
MEMBER NEWS
BANQUET: Our Second Annual Banquet was held last month, it didn't snow and a good time was had by all. Our entertainment, Steve Barry, had a bit of a problem getting there but he made it, his show on Northeast Railroading was great.
CLARK TRAIN SHOW: The Jersey Central Chapter of NRHS provided us with a table at their train show. Pete Terp, Jim Anderson and myself attended, we sold railroadiana and model trains and talked up the organization. We made some good contacts and had a great time. The show was well attended and we had probably the best table location.
DUES: Your 1994 membership dues should already be paid. The benefits of membership keep getting better.... See Dave at the meeting or send it in!
FUND RAISING: If any members have any suggestions on possible fund raisers, call Jim Stetler at 610-253-5713 or see him at the next meeting. On a positive note, we received a $250 check ear marked roof repair with a member's membership renewal. Thanks again Walt!
