MEMBER NEWS
ROLLING STOCK: As reported last issue, caboose #17 has been moved by Conrail, caboose #14 remains to be moved. We have moved the trailer, donated by Thermoplastics of Sterling, New Jersey, to Phillipsburg. This trailer will allow us to put additional C&S cars into storage, and free up space in the firehouse so that work can progress. While on the subject of work, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! We have many small projects and other work sessions that NEED YOUR HELP! Get involved, this is your organization. Some projects can be done at home at your leisure.
C&S REPORT: Member Keith Muldowney is currently trying to adapt a track plan to Walters Park. We are also looking into Delaware River Park. At last month's meeting, a site selection committee was formed to pick the best site. As we proceed with an acceptable track plan, we are going to need VOLUNTEERS to help build a railroad. Sign up at this month's meeting or phone Pete Terp at (908) 454-4848. The Jersey Central Chapter of N.R.H.S. has returned their donation to get us started with the project.
