This month's meeting will be held on May 24th, at 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room of Phillipsburg Town Hall. The room has gotten smaller, we may be across the hall in Council Chambers. I can't comment on last month's entertainment because I didn't see it. Jim Anderson was supposed to show some movies, I'm sure he did a great job. I don't know what our entertainment will be this month, but we will have entertainment!

Last month New Jersey Transit re-secured "PU" Tower, this was done because of the efforts of our director, Rocky Rockafellow, who contacted the appropriate people to get the job done. It looks like the only thing they didn't do is tack down the flashing on the roof.

Last month our regularly scheduled work party went to Monmouth County to retrieve the last of the Centerville & Southwestern Railroad equipment. They got everything, including the station. More work sessions will be held monthly, probably on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, we have a lot of work to do, WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! A lot of work has to be done on the land behind Sitgreaves Street. First order of business is to clear it, trees cut down, trash removed. There is plenty of firewood here if anyone needs it. The town is going to provide a chipper for our use. Much work needs to be done, it isn't all heavy work but we need your help, many hands make light work! There will not be a work session on the 27th this month because of it being a holiday weekend.
