MARCH 1997 NEWSLETTER VOL. VI MAY 20, 1997
Phillipsburg Railroad Historians, Inc.
292 Chambers Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865
This month's meeting will be held on March 26th, at 7:30 pm, at Phillipsburg Town Hall. Entertainment by Paul Carpenito.
As we move into spring, much needs to be done at our museum site - work parties will be called as needed until we get on a regular summer schedule.
Our lease with the town has been squared away, and arrangements have been made to get our pole work completed. Our first goal is to be up and running by June for RIVERFEST. Many of our projects can be done with the available time of our volunteers. See Jim Anderson at the meeting, or call him at (610) - 252-4046.
Speaking of work parties: thanks to: Ken Miller, Ann Jennings, Jim Dyer, Dave Griffith, Jim Anderson, & Pete Terp on March 1st work detail at Viking.
Also thanks to our members who manned the club table at the Mother Seton Train Show: Jim Anderson, Jim Mack, Joe Frick, and myself Anthony Chando.
Our prospectus has been updated. We will have a supply at the meeting, PLEASE pick some up and carry them with you and talk our organization up - we need some young strong backs for a few of the projects.
