This months meeting will be held at 7:30 pm on August 27th at the Phillipsburg Town Hall in the basement. Entertainment will be presented by Tom Nemeth.

August open house was visited by 37 people, including Mr. Ross Roland. Once again the C&S was running thanks to Bob Bennington, Jim Mack, Alan Bellis, Ann Jennings and Ken Miller. Also thanks to our grass (weed) trimmers, Rick Glosser, Ed Beers, Tom Marzuoli, Pat Christe and Ann Jennings. Keeps the site looking good.

SITE REPORT: On August 4th at the Phillipsburg Enterprise Zone meeting the board unanimously voted to approve $75,000.00 for us for the following projects, #1 Retaining Wall by the museum building. #2 Fence museum property. #3 Build engine house on the south property. #4 build a Quonset Hut type building on the north property. This grant shows the support we have in Phillipsburg for our Museum project. Thank You UEZ. This grant also needs approval of Town Council and the State UEZ Board. On another note, Thanks to Bob Kirkpatrick for doing a like new job refinishing 2 switch stand targets as well as an outside light for the museum building.

It is with regrets that we accept the resignation of Tony Chando as a Director. Tony is to be thanked for his contributions to our group. An interim Director will be appointed.

Work parties will continue thru September on Monday and Thursday evenings except the week of the Directors meeting when the work party is on Wednesday instead of Thursday evening.
