December 1997 NEWSLETTER VOL. VII #12

This months meeting will be held as usual at 7:30 on December, 17th at Phillipsburg Town Hall in the basement. Entertainment will be presented by Paul Carpenito: Trains In The Snow.

Due to the shorter days and the colder weather, progress is slowing for the winter. We will continue to lay track and move rolling stock as soon as possible. This project has been slowed by the theft of 16 4 1/4 X 8 journal brasses from the L&HR flat car and flanger, as well as 2 brasses 5 X 9 (special) from the tonner.

We did move a trailer load of rail up to the site and some track work was completed on November 22nd and 23rd.

Projects will continue as weather permits. PLEASE VOLUNTEER!! Call Jim Anderson at 610.252.4026.

1997 has seen much progress on our project. We must keep the momentum up so as to be ready for our public come spring.
