This months meeting will be held as usual at 7:30 P.M. on May 27th at Phillipsburg Town Hall in the basement. Entertainment to be announced.
The past month has brought progress on the retaining wall, track work and general clean up for our opening on June 6th, despite of much rain in the last month.
Ken Miller has loaned us a new weed wacker for museum use, with Rick Glosser and Ed Beers handling grass control.
We will push ahead on retaining wall work and track work. Jim Anderson with Bob Marinelli have been appraising our rolling stock for repair. Jim Mack has been working on the electrical cabinets and gauges on the G.E. Alan Bellis and Ed Beers have been working on the C&S getting ready for the summer.
Our Banquet on April 25th with 32 attending, including our Mayor. Flynns as usual did a fine job with the meal and Mitch Dakelman provided several great movies for our enjoyment.
We will need all available members for opening weekend June 6th & 7th, as we will be part of River Fest as well as hosting Jersey Central's Picnic on Sunday.
