Public Buildings and Monuments: The League Conclave building is the center of the Pantheon's government bureacracy. It houses the court of the Emir and Most Revered Father Rimaq al-Nimar and the League Conclave, itself, made of delegates from all the cities of the Pantheon. The army of the Pantheon, Sword of the True Gods, is also headquartered in the League building.
Religious Buildings: Found in the center of city, the Great Mosque of the Pantheon together with the League Conclave dominates the skyline of the city. Wide avenues provide easy access to visiting pilgrims in the city.
If any city in the Pantheon can be said to be bustling, that city is Hudid.
As one of the most tolerant cities of the Pantheon, it is the major trade
hub of the region, attracting a great variety of traffic. Pilgrims bound to
or from Huzuz, merchant captains from the Ruined Kingdoms and beyond, even
ships from the Pearl Cities stop in Hudid's busy port...
Where to Stay: There are a number of inns in the harbor district that cater to travelers
visiting Hudid. Though the harbor is the least restrictive area of the
city, the city watch maintains a strong presence here, acting as both
protector and moral compass...
The Sunken Treasure is an example of a reasonably priced inn. Owned by Omar al-Bamari, a quiet retired rubban from the city of Jumlat, the inn has both private quarters and a common room for weary travelers who want to spend
a night on dry land after a long sea voyage...
Goods and Services: Hudid provides numerous opportunities for trade. Ships from the Ruined Kingdoms bringing wood, gold, and spices are joined by others bringing frankincense and pearls from the Pearl Cities and dyes and textiles from the cities of the north.
Merchants unfamiliar with trading within Hudid or any other cities of the Pantheon are wise to hire an intermediary to assist them in traversing the many rules of the region.
The glassmaker's district produces the best glass wares to be found anywhere in Zakhara. Lenses, telescopes, beakers, vases and an countless variety of other glass forms find their way from Hudid to the rest of Zakhara.
