In Aug.1881,The family of HARRY NICHOLLS immigrated to the U.S. From COVENTRY ENGLAND,a textile center at the time, to Conneticut via Boston. The elders were Textile workers and were living at 37 St. John's St. in Coventry (per 1881 census).

A son, ALBERT, was born in Aug. 1882 in Connecticut (Textile Mill Area?)..In the 1900 N.J. Census, The family is living in Union Township, Bergen Cty. New Jersey working as Ribbon Weavers , Silk Winders and Ribbon Finishers and consisted of:

I am Looking for info. about the fate of ALBERT NICHOLLS and his sisters AMELIA NICHOLLS, MARY NICHOLLS and ELISA NICHOLLS in the U.S. Also Charles Nicholls Born 1861 in Coventry. He might have married About 1881 and stayed in Coventry?

The parents of Harry Nicholls's wife Emma, nee NEWEY were Charles Newey and his wife Amelia Newey nee MILLACHIP of Coventry. I am still looking for the Birth / baptism record of Harry Nicholls in order to nail down his parents...
