The Foreign Content of Turkish 1.League
Turkish teams can have six foreign players in their team lists for each game, but upto five of them can play at anytime. The sixth player can be substituted only if a foreign player is taken out of the game. Turkish 1.League has 76 foreign players from 32 different countries. Brazil has 10 players, Egypt 7, Yugoslavia and Germany 6, Ghana, Bulgaria, and Cameroon 4.
