Stage 2
PO
Altay started the weekend with a new technical director. They beat Hacılar Erciyes 3-1. They are still the only unbeaten team in the play-offs, but they were not that convincable. We'll see if Rıdvan Dilmen can motivate the team for this weeks very important game with Diyarbakırspor. Hacılar didn't play well either. Their hope of promoting is dying every week. They should aim for the Stage 3, now. Şeker finally managed to win. They were playing supposedly a good team which was not in one of their better days. A red card in the 30th minute made it easier for Şeker. İstanbul BB is also fading ever week. They are now at sixth place after occupying the top spots early in the play-offs. The week of the game was in Diyarbakır. After so many rumours of being supported by government, Diyarbakır had to play well against a good team, but they couldn't perform. Göztepe beat them in their home. Diyarbakır played so far against only to Championship hopeful teams and lost 5-2 in Konya and lost to Göztepe 1-0 at home. A third one Altay game is this weekend in İzmir. Even though the sensational win in Diyarbakır, Göztepe couldn't get to the top spot. They are now behind Konya on a goal difference. Sivas finally won a game in their fourth try at home. Although they play well enough to win they were not successful before. This win put them to the important fifth spot. Their opponent Elazığ's hopes must be damaged a lot with this loss. They are now 4 points behind the fifth spot and 10 points behind the second. That means no direct promotion this year. If they get their stuff together, they may still fight for the fifth spot. Other than the top four favourites, the others looks very much even. Konya got another sensational win to increase their goal difference. And it put them to the top spot over Göztepe. As for Hatayspor it may be the end of the road. Stuck at the bottom of the table, they need a miracle to go anywhere. The morale of the team must be very low, nowadays. If they forget about the promotion, they may perform better, since the promotion will not happen this year. Contrary to G1, the only game with an expected result was İzmirspor game. My favourite team won again and getting a little bir more comfortable at second place. Karşıyaka beat Ispartaspor at their home and jumped two spots to the third place. Two bottom teams are not giving up. Both Salihli and Turgutlu won away games this week. Salihli beat Nazilli, who can not get result at home. Turgutlu beat Buca in İzmir. Buca is giving away the points they got from the other İzmir teams. But, they are in danger of relegation now. The leader Aydınspor was bye this week. The Team of the week: Karşıyaka Next week: Karşıyaka (3) - Aydınspor (1) Salihli (9) - Isparta (4) Eskişehir (6) - Nazilli (5) Turgutlu (8) - İzmir (2) Buca (7) bye

There were very important games in this group this week. Çorluspor beat Kırklareli in the fight of the teams fighting the relegation. Kayseri was impotent again this week. Forget about wınnıng the classification and playing for the Stage 3, they can not even make the 2.League Super group this way. As for Büyükşehir Belediyesi Ankaraspor they usually choke at the end, but this time they may not do that, since there are no real threat. Gaziosmanpaşa beat the leader Mobella and started playing better every week. They may be a bigger threat than Kayseri. Mobella is simply underachieving again. In the other game two İstanbul team shared the points, trying to stay in the middle. The Team of the week: Çorluspor Next week: Üsküdar Özsahrayıcedid (6) - Kayseri (3) Mobella (1) - Güngören (5) Kırklareli (8) - Gaziosmanpaşa (4) BB Ankaraspor (2) - Çorlu (7)
