10' Halim wins Hacılar's first corner in their first real threatening move
13' Serdar (K) breaks down the left wing but delivers a poor cross
14' Back come Hacılar but Özgür is ruled offside when the ball is played into the box
16' From another Konya corner, brings a good chance and Burak shoots and Cengiz saves only
to get injured when Yunus kicks the ball out of his hand
18' From a Hacılar free kick from 35 yards, the shot by Halim goes wide
21' From a Hacılar corner, Recep has to save on the line by punching it over the bar from

25' Hacılar attack again and the shot by Kemal from 25 yards is saved well by Recep
29' When Seyit dribbles the ball out of his own penalty area for Hacılar, he is bought down
by a wild challenge which the ref shows Burak of Konya the red card. (This, okay was
a bad challenge but it only deserved a yellow and the ref got it wrong)
36' The ten men of Konya still attack after a poor ref decision and this time Birol shoots
from 26 yards and Cengiz again has to make the save, but the ball runs loose to
Yunus and Cengiz brings him down and the ref turns away penalty appeals (On the
reply this was a definate penalty as Cengiz never made contact with the ball)
39' Birol again shoots from 25 yards but it goes wide
43' Recep makes a good save at his left hand post from an header by Seyit (H) from the
corner

48' First action of the second half went to Konya from a free kick from 35 yards, but it is
poor
51' A good break from Konya leads to Ercüment shooting and Cengiz making an excellent
diving save after the initial pass from Serdar
53' Serdar gets a yellow card for arguing with the linemen on an offside decision against
Konya. (He was clearly onside when the ball was played)
58' Altay breaks down the wing and puts in a dangerous cross which Cengiz has to be alert
to and catch
59' Down the other end, Hacılar get in a good position inside the box and only good
defending by Konya stop them
60' Konya break and Yunus crosses but it is just too long for Ercüment to connect with
63' Serdar dribbles into the box for Konya and passes to Hayri who drags his shot wide from
the edge of the area

88' GOALLLLL 1-0: Hacılar get a free kick out of nothing and Halim takes the kick, and
Ferhat Timoçin heads the ball past the diving Recep
90' A double substitution by Hacılar by bringing on Zeynel in place of Ferhat Tunç and
Kemal Dulda in place of Özgür

Crowd rating: 10 Both sets of fans made a lovely carnival atmosphere here in the Atatürk
stadium
Ref rating: 1 Terrible refereeing by Mr. Zafer Önder Ipek. His decision to send off Burak was
dreadful and why did he not give the penalty when he could easily see it was one. I
would like to give him a zero rating but in the laws of football you have to give
the ref at least a mark for turning up. But he should of stayed at home.
Disgraceful. One final point about the ref is that he is a clown and should go back
to the circus
MVP of the match: Altay Can for Konya who held the defence together when they were
down to ten men

Goal of the game: Only one but it was well taken by Ferhat
Sumary:
Hacılar were content just to sit here and not lose to keep pride intact and were surprised
when they scored the winner against the Konya
Konyaspor: It never bothered them that they lost a player for 70 minutes and really should
have won with ten men. The referee went against them from the first whistle and really this
spoiled everything about the game, but an excellent spirit shown with great passion after
the sending off deserves to give them the team of the 2nd league award from me at the end
of the season. This award will be only based on teams televised
