Group 1 Oct 14 İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye 4-1 KDÇ Karabükspor İB: Erkan 1,28,47, Göksel 58 KB: Hakan 2 Bakırköyspor 1-2 Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediye Şenlikköy Stadyumu - Ref: Recep Akbaş Bakırköy: Vedat, Merthan, Hakan (Özgür Göynü 84), Celal (Okan 80), Özgür Öcal, Mehmet Ali, Mehmet, Abdurrahman (Hasan 46), Aydın, Çetin, Erkan Gaziantep Büyükşehir: Murat, Zafer, Sedat, Osman, Hasan Yurt, Oral, Adem, Fatih, İbrahim Öztürk, Şefik (Muttalip 23), Erol (İbrahim Toraman 90) BK: Erkan 16 GA: Adem 37, Oral 60 After a thrashing by 6 goals to nil by Gaziantep BŞ Bld,this is a match that Bakırköy needed to reverse the result on the first day.The first chance came on 4' for Gaziantep when a shot by Zafer was well wide.Then Gaziantep broke away in the 6' and a shot by Erol was turned away for a corner by Vedat in the Bakırköy goal,but the defence esily cleared the corner.Erol got away again in the 8' minute but when he got into the box,he fell and handled the ball.Bakırköy came in the 13' and from a pass by Çetin,Mehmet Ali saw his shot hit the crossbar.3 minues later,Bakırköy took the lead when a cross by Aydın was controlled and shot into the net by Erkan.On 18' a cross from the right hand side was just too high for Çetin to direct his header.A free kick for Gaziantep on 27' just outside the Bakırköy box just missed the right hand post.Two minutes later a long ball cleared by the Gaziantep defence was caught by Adem whose shot was wide.On 36' Gaziantep equalised when a ball Sedat was passed to Erol whose cross was turned in by Adem.On 40',a free kick for Bakırköyspor from 35 yards was played into the box but the referee gave a free kick for pushing.In the last minute of the first half,Gaziantep had the last shot when Fatih shot too high. First chance of the 2nd half went to Gaziantep from a free kick was cleared wel by defender Mertan.Another free kick for Gaziantep was deflected for a corner,but it was poor and went out for a goalkick.Then a ong ball by Hakan from the Bakırköy defence found Çetin who ran and had a shot which was well saved by Murat in the Gaziantep goal,which resulted in a corner for Bakırköy,but when the corner was taken Erkan's header went wide.Seconds later Gaziantep had another chance but this was cleared off the line by Mertan.Within the next minute,Vedat had to save well with his feet this time a goalbound shot.In the next 2 minutes,Gaziantep had 3 corners which was defended well by the Bakırköy defence.In the 59' Gaziantep got their second goal when a cross came to Oral who shot past the diving goalkeeper from 16 yards.A minute later,Gaziantep were down to 10 men when Hasan was sent off for a second yellow card.In the 62' Gaziantep had a chance to make it 3,but Erol's header bounced over the bar.Bakırköy got a corner on 68' but totally wasted it.On 75', a free kick for Bakırkçy by Mertan was again turned away for a corner by Murat.3 minutes later a quick break by Erol for Gaziantep got into the box and his shot beat the goalkeeper but it hit the post.Bakırköy won a free kick in the 83',which Hakan shot and his shot the side neting.On 86' a free kick by Mehmet Ramoğlu for Bakırköy was turned away for the corner,which was taken short and when the cross came in Erkan's header went wide and this was the last real action of a dull game. MVP of the game: Celal for Bakırköy who was a strong rock in an very ordinary defence. First chance went to Düzce when Kamil long range shot was dropped by goalkeeper Abdullah but claimed the ball at the second attempt. Sivas won a free kick on 8',but the attempt by Caner went high over the bar. Sivas however got another free kick in the 11',again taken by Caner but it found his two forwards in offside positions. Düzce won a corner in the 25',but Mustafa's header was deflected over the bat for another corner which from it another header by Mustafa went wide. On the half hour mark a cross from Tunay for Düzce was met by Serkan but he headed into Abdullah's hands. Then a minute later,a cross came in and Mustafa for Düzce volleyed wide. Düzce had another cance on 35' when a cross by Mustafa was headed by Onur which went wide when he should have hit the target. 3 minutes later Düzce won a free kick and at the same time Sivas made a substitution by taking off Adem Yaras and replacing him with Mahmut Hoşgız. From the free kick an headed by Adnan went wide. On 40',Düzce got another free kick and the shot taken by Mustafa hit the Sivas wall. In the 42' an attack by Sivas led to a cross by Yusuf Bayraktar finding Emin in the box,but again the offside flag was raised. From the Düzce free kick the ball found Serkan who passed to Mustafa and his shot went straight to goalkeeper Abdullah. Seconds later Düzce won the ball and Kamil ran and shot over the bar. In the last minute of the first half.Düzce won yet another free kick on the edge of the area. Adnan took the free kick and Abdullah had to turn it over the bar for a corner which the referee blew the half time whistle as the ball was played in. Düzcespor made a half time substitution by bringing on Arif Bayraktar in place of Onur. In the 2',Sivas won a free kick just outside the Duzce box and was taken by Mahmut but it was deflected for a corner which was wasted. Sivas then played another ball into the box a minute later, which goalkeeper Murat punched to safety. In the 48',Sivas won a corner which was cleared but seconds later as Sivas attacked, they got a free kick. Mahmut played the ball to Ekrem whose shot was very wild and way off the target. 0n 50' Düzce broke and a shot by Arif went straight to the goalkeeper. On 55' a cross from the wing by Tunay for Düzce was put out for a corner, and from the corner a volley by Mustafa was tipped over the bar by Abdullah, for another corner which came to nothing. Sivas had a golden chance in the 58', when a ball played by Yusuf found Emin who shot wide with only the goaleeper to beat. On the hour,Düzce won a free kick,which was taken by Adnan and again it hit the wall and as the loose ball came out, Şenol crossed for Mustafa to head wide. In the 66',Düzce won another free kick just outside the Sivas area. This time Mustafa shot and hit a Sivas defender who cleared it. Sivas won afree kick in the 73' but when Caner took it,he shot straight at goalkeeper Murat. In the 82' Sivas won a corner and as the corner was played a shot by Murat for Sivas was cleared off the line by defender Şenol and as the ball was played back in,the ball hit a defender on the arm and the Sivas player's appealed for a penalty which the referee waved play on. In the 85' Sivas won another free kick,which was taken by Murat and a volley by Turgay went wide. A minute it was Duzce's turn to win a free kick close to the Sivas area.The free kick was taken but Sivas cleared it with ease. In the last minute,a Sivas corner was headed over by Turgay. Into injury time and they last attack came from Sivasspor when a cross by Önder was headed wide by Murat. To sum up.An average game and a fair result,but for Sivasspor it was points dropped in their play off quest. MVP of the game goes to Düzcespor defender Ahmet who never put a foot wrong in the heart of their defence all game. Club president have sent the withdrawal letter to TFF. However, TFF didn't accept the letter. According to some TFF rules(!), only the club administration can withdraw the team, not the president. Because of this rule, one group plays with 11, one with 9, and three with 10 teams. TFF Penalties: 1. ASAŞ SK Ankara was penalized with -3 points after forfeiting the first game.
