Karşıyaka played a long ball by Serkan which Muharrem caught and passed the ball across the 6 yard box for Sefer to knock in. İzmirspor equalised on 22', Gürkem chased a long ball and lobbed it over the goalkeeepers head into the net. Two minutes later Gürkem chased another long ball and lobbed again only to just miss the post. İzmirpor then had a goal disallowed for offside. In the 35',the Karşıyaka player Melih was dangerously kicked after the ball had gone, resulting him going to hospital. In the last minute of the first half Yalçın got hold of a loose ball the defence should of cleared and scored. The second half was a drama, with İzmirspor going close on 49' with a shot by Soner Yurdakul going just wide. After a good save by the İzmir goalkeeper on 54 minutes from Sefer, the drama happened ten minutes later when Sefer was viciously bought down in the penalty area. The referee pointed to the spot, only to be confronted by the Izmir players. He then changed his mind and gave offside. A minute later İzmir scored through Serhat. Karşıyaka did get a penalty on 75' which Birant missed. On 86' Sefer scored for Karşıyaka from close range. A moderate game with some poor refereeing helped by some bad linemen decisions. by Mark D. The first goal for Sivasspor came on 17' when Önder Dalkıran ran with the ball from his own half and played a one two and placed the ball over the oncoming goalkeeper. On 27' Sivasspor nearly made it 2-0 but Yusuf Bayraktar's shot was cleared off the line.A minute later it was 2-0 as a shot from Mahmut Hoşgız went in off the post. A double substitution by gumushane on 30' led to a corner which was wasted. Sivasspor had Ayhan sent off in the 39' for two yellow cards. On the stroke of half time, Yusuf shot wide really it should have been 3-0. The first chance of the second half went to gumushane as Fevzi shot into the side netting. A penalty was awarded to Gümüşhane on 54' for a foul in the box. Bülent Karaman sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it 2-1.In the 57' Bülent Karaman scored again to level the scores with a goal from 6 yards. After this the the chances were few and far between, and the best chance went to Bülent Karaman who broke through on his own only to be stopped by Abdullah in the Sivasspor goal. On 80' Emin shot wide for Sivasspor as the game seemed to be heading for a draw until injury time when Mesut scored from 6 yards from a good cross to win the game for Gümüşhane Doğanspor which silenced everybody. The game was entertaining with a good referee named Numan Polat. The only question being asked in Sivas is how did they manage to lose this game. by Mark D.
