THE INTELLIGENT FIXTURE
Turkish Soccer has prepared an intelligent fixture for you.
You will enter a game score to the sheet. As you are entering the scores, you will see it is also updating the group standing next to it. After entering the scores for a group, you will press the button which says "Sort Groups" and the order of all groups done properly.
As the tournament proceeds to the next rounds, the fixture will be updated automatically, so that you don't have to type any names. When you enter a score to the knock-out games, the nation to proceed will be highlighted as winner at the end of the line and the next round's fixture is updated automatically.
The fixture is done in Excel. You can download the file in .zip format (35K). When you unzip the file it will be 106 KB. Hope you enjoy it.

THE DRAW
The draw on Dec 1 came up with some interesting pairings in each group.
Group A has the first and last World Cup winners in the group. It was also a dream of Senegal team to play a World Cup champion. They are doing this in a big way, in the opener.
Group B has Spain and some competition to them from the CONMEBOL second, the only first timer from UEFA and the South Africans.
Group C has my team with Brazil, CONCACAF Champion and a good team by Milutinovic.
Group D looks like a trouble for host Korea with two good UEFA teams and USA.
Group E seems to be one of the weaker groups with two UEFA play-off winners.
Group F is one of the stronger groups. Nigeria is usually a good rep for CAF, but they may not be this time.
Group G is another good group with Italy, Croatia, always challenging Mexico and the surprise of the CONMEBOL.
Group H must be the weakest group with no clear favourite. Even though the UEFA nations look a little stronger, Tunisia or Japan can easily break them in.
More info on the draw procedure and the dramatics of the actual draw is at The Draw.
