The Games
The First Round is played in four pools with four country each.
Each team played two games. Two teams from each pool qualified to the
Quarter Finals. If tehere was a tie in the pool games extra times were
played.
If there is a tie for the points gained in the standings, the goals scored
for and against are not considered, the teams play a play-off game to break
the tie.
Brazil and France seeded to Group 1, Hungary and Turkey to the Group 2,
Austria and Uruguay to the Group 3, and England and Italy to the Group 4.
From Quarter-finals and on it was one-game elimination.
