This is where my snakes reside.
Atlas resides in a 40 gallon breeder (wider than a normal 40 gallon) tank. He has Repti-bark substrate, and a 36" combo light (three incandescent fixtures, and one fluorescent fixture). The problem with such a large tank is maintaining an adequate temperature. Titan has a 20 gallon long tank, and a 20" Bi-Light (two incandescent fixtures). He also has an undertank heating pad. Since they both have screen tops, the humidity level is pretty low. Within the next three or four months, I plan to purchase two 36" Neodesha cages from Bush Herpetological Supply. |
