Tamole's Third Eddition and Beau's Reflection

Beau, 1998

My friend Monica has two horses. Third Eddition (Mr. T)is her first horse. He's a very old, but very cute, blue roan gelding. He's not a big horse, somewhere in the vicinity of 14.3 hands, but he has tons of personality. He has tons of energy, and is rather noisy when he's in a stall. Monica doesn't ride him anymore, he has earned his retirement.

Beau's Reflection (Beau) is Monica's other horse. He's a pretty 18 year old buckskin Arabian/Mustang. He is only about 14.2 hands high, but he more than makes up for it with his althetic ability. When Monica started working with him, he hadn't been ridden in quite some time. Within a few short months, she had trained him to barrel race, and he always flew around the pattern. Less than a year later, she was concentrating on him with English riding and was jumping up to about 3' with him, and was doing dressage work as well. Unfortunately, last summer, Beau bowed one of his tendons very badly. It was expected to take a very long time to heal. Then, a few months ago, he bowed his other tendon. He is not being ridden until his legs are totally healed. Once they are, we'll see what sort of work he will be capable of doing.
