The Verona High School Class of 1959 Web Site was created by classmate, John T. Whiting just prior to the classes 40th class reunion held in 1999.  The site has provided a focal point of communication for classmates and visitors to the web since it was launched.

It is hoped that the VHS Class of 1959 Web Site will continue to provide classmates with the opportunity to share information about their families, experiences and activities.  Classmates are encouraged to send photographs and other information about their activities to be posted on the web site. 

Visitors to the Verona High School Class of 1959 Web Site are invited to offer their suggestions, comments and ideas concerning making the web site more user friendly and beneficial to classmates and visitors.  This can be done by clicking HERE.

The VHS Class of 1959 Web Master

The Vernona High School Class of 1959 Web Site's Web Master is John Whiting.  As a student at Vernona High School he was active in the music program and sports.  John has been a consultant to in providing technology support to business and education as the Managing Director of E-Business Management Consulting.  He believed that his classmates would find it easier to stay in touch and communicate if they had access to the benefits that could be gained from a web site.

In addition to his work in consulting John has been a freelance photographic journalist covering many sporting and historical events.  He has used these talents to photograph VHS Class of 1959 reunion activities and post them on the web site.  More of his photographic and journalistic events can by viewed by visiting two of his web sites - Golf Event Photos and the Vernon Advocate. He is also the author of 13 books on a wide variety of topics including a book commemorating the VHS Class of 1959 featuring photos and memories of the 40th, 45th and 50th class reunions which can be downloaded FREE. John is married to wife Buffy.  The two share a love for outdoor sports, skiing, golf and their children and 5 grand children.
