Forget Not That I Feel

Forget not that I'm human
Forget not that I feel
Touch me, I am real
I'm a living man

With every beat of my heart
Emotions flow through my veins
Bringing pleasure, causing pain
And passion inspires art

From my pen flows the poetry
Driven by that passion
Created by that emotion
That emotion that i feel for thee

And passion and pleasure and pain
Proves that I'm humane
And nothing so arcane
(Do you find this all inane?)

Just remember that I'm real
I have emotions too
emotions just like you
So forget not that I feel
