This show was THE ULTIMATE NICK FANS DREAM COME TRUE! I was directly in front of NICK! I could not believe my eyes!!!! I was mesmerized by him throughout the entire show!!!! Now on to my review of each song one by one!!!! Enjoy and LET IT FLOW!!!! Please note that this show was shortened due to the fact that it was played in a casino hotel :).

1. GIRLS ON FILM - EXCELLENT! as usual. NICK and SIMON were SMASHINGLY GOOD!!!! It was perfect! They had fantastic energy and the sound was unbelieveable!

2. HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF - CLASSIC! I can never hear this song enough times! The crowd was of course singing to this massive classic and had great fun as always!

3. NOTORIOUS - GREAT SURPRISE! I miss hearing this one on tour, so I was greatly anticipating it! It sounded great as usual and the audience was bouncing all over the room!!!! I had a great time during this one!!!!

4. HALLUCINATING ELVIS - OH MY GOD! That is all I can say about this one! WHAT A GREAT SONG!!!! The sound was unbelieveable and I love the lyrics!!!! A very exciting, happy and just an all around PERFECT SONG!

6. COME UNDONE - HEAVEN!! This has always been one of my favorite songs, ever since I first heard it. They did an excellent job with this one. One of the major highlights was the audience was singing this one very loudly and very enthusiastically!

7. ALL SHE WANTS IS - Thank god for BIG THING! I was blown away by this one, especially as a NICK fan, watching those lips move! Ooooooooooo! I was so excited to hear it again! The last time was in 1989! So I was thrilled!

8. FRIENDS OF MINE - 1981 all over again! This was brilliant as well as mesmerizing! I cannot love this one enough, the sound was amazing! The keyboards WOW! I was shivering all over during this one!!!!

9. WHITE LINES - Very thrilling! wonderful! I think this version was by far the best version I have ever heard of this track EVER! I LOVED it!!!!

10. ELECTRIC BARBARELLA - JUST PERFECT! NICK and his "Magic Box" effects, to see it up close and personal from the front row is like an out of body experience for any NICK fan!!!! I was in HEAVEN!!!!

11. PLANET EARTH - GREAT! Classic song, that makes the audience very excited! We sang every word to this one and SIMON and NICK were thrilled on stage! We could tell that they enjoyed playing it! And that was the most wonderful part of it!

12. ORDINARY WORLD - THOSE LYRICS! So powerful! Every time I hear it it is like the first time. Just like Save A Prayer, it has the same effect on me. Perfection. Classic Perfection.

13. THE REFLEX - YAY! That was a wonderful surprise! I LOVE hearing this song! It is one of the most exciting tracks that they have ever written!! I was so happy to hear this one and it sounded just the same as it did in 1984!!!!

14. POP TRASH MOVIE - Can you say TV MANIA? I CAN! YES! OH YES! It is coming and I cannot wait! This song ROCKS!!!!!!! It is one of the most brilliant tracks EVER! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

15. RIO - PERFECT. CLASSIC. Always a show stopper! WE always go CRAZY during this one!!!! Just like hearing it for the first time every time! GO NICK! GO SIMON! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

As usual, the clothes were to die for! NICK was wearing a WHITE STRIPED SHIRT with a FLORAL pattern and pants had GOLD RHINESTONES up and down the sides....MmmmmHmmmmm! And shiny white shoes!!!!!!!! YUM! SIMON was wearing a TIGHT BLACK shirt, BLACK pants with a WHITE stripe up and down the sides, with GRAY RETRO sneakers!!!!!! LOVE IT! I was VERY IMPRESSED as always!!!!!!! YUM! YUM!

This show was AMAZING! They played the entire set list this time, including Out Of My Mind, Secret Oktober, Someone Else Not Me & Lava Lamp which were taken out of the Atlantic City show because of the time that the casino allowed them to play in. Here is my review again song by song for your reading pleasure!

1. GIRLS ON FILM - This one got a LOUD ROAR from the crowd!!!! They were dancing all over the place! I was screaming my head off as usual! It was great to hear it for time #2!!!! Just as PERFECT!

2. HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF - PERFECTION! Just like 1982 only it is 1999 and most of us have matured????? Well, maybe not all of us, I am not including myself in the "mature" category! As my friend would say! It was perfect all around as usual!

3. NOTORIOUS - Now what else can I say! This one was like one of the most anticipated of them all! I could tell by the crowd reaction!!!! It was a great time to be had by all!

4. HALLUCINATING ELVIS - GREAT! WONDERFUL! PERFECT! I was SO EXCITED! Hearing this for the second time was like OH MY GOD!!!! I think this will make an absolutely fabulous single!!!! I am really looking forward to it!

5. OUT OF MY MIND - WOW! The "Perfecto Mix" LIVE! They did a fantastic job with this one!!!!!! I was amazed by how brilliant it sounded, and all of NICK'S hand effects!!!! WOW!!!! PERFECTION!!!! **FAINT**

6. COME UNDONE - HEAVEN as usual! I was thrilled! This song RULES! That is all I have to say!

7. ALL SHE WANTS IS - YAY! BIG THING! I have to admit to this being one of my favorite periods in Duran Duran history. It sounded brilliant and I was very excited.

8. FRIENDS OF MINE - Always a favorite. The audience looked amazed at this one! I can see why, it is becoming a classic all over again!

9. SOMEONE ELSE NOT ME - WONDERFUL! I love the lyrics to this song and the keyboards rock as usual! I was just mesmerized by this one! I could see the audience was too just as I was! I love this one.

10. SECRET OKTOBER - **FAINT** WOW!!!! SIMON & NICK RULE!!!! This track has been given brilliant new life. I never thought I would hear a B-Side live again! I remember back in 1997 when they did it, and now it is even more brilliant!

11. WHITE LINES - ROCKS!!!! This song was a big crowd pleaser!!!! I know I was dancing and singing all over the place!!!!!!! WOW!!!! #1!!!! PERFECT!

12. LAVA LAMP - This song makes me want to go out and buy one! I think it is SURREAL! And makes you want to slip into MEDAZZALAND!!!!!!

13. ELECTRIC BARBARELLA - Ooooooo....THOSE HANDS! NICK YOU ARE A GOD! SIMON YOU ROCK! As you can tell this one is one of my favorite tracks!

14. PLANET EARTH - Sounds just like it did in 1981! Perfect as usual! Loved it!

15. ORDINARY WORLD - WOW! Heaven on Earth! Love this song, and at this show especially perfect!

16. THE REFLEX - YAY! NICK and those voice effects are making me so CRAZY!!!! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! This song rules!

17. POP TRASH MOVIE - SAY TV MANIA....TV MANIA....This song is a MUST HAVE RIGHT NOW THIS MOMENT!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!

18. RIO - CLASSIC. ENOUGH SAID.

The clothes at this one was of course STUNNING! NICK was wearing a BLACK T-Shirt with a FLAME design and pants with a shiny SILVER stripe on the sides, and adorable baby sneakers!!!!! Awwwwwww! SIMON in A BLACK SHIRT and BLACK pants with a WHITE stripe. They were of course CAPTIVATING as usual!!!!

This show was perfection, I will not go into each song one by one because if you have read the other two reviews you know what I am going to say about this one! Perfect, wonderful and SEXY AS HELL!!!! But, there were two screens here! This was a major highlight for me, since at certain moments you got some exceptional closeups of NICK & SIMON on stage! This was a GREAT SURPRISE and a great way for me to end my concert experience this time around! I was in awe of them, as always. They were perfect! And the clothes were OOOOOOOOOO!!!! NICK in a TIGHT BLACK SILK shirt and those WHITE PANTS with GOLD RHINESTONES and SHINY WHITE shoes! SIMON in a TIGHT BLACK shirt and BLACK pants that had a WHITE stripe up and down the sides. Fashion perfection as usual. My experience is one I will never forget EVER!!!!!!!! I can never have a better time than when I see them live in concert! If I could tell them of my experiences, thank you would never be enough! All I can say is, this tour has been ONE OF THE BEST EVER!!!! and I can't wait to do it all over again!!!!!!!!! When I first noticed DURAN DURAN it was February of 1981. I remember seeing the PLANET EARTH video for the first time. As, I watched this "MASTERPIECE", I noticed the keyboardist of the group, and INSTANTLY fell in LOVE!!!! But, seriously, I became mesmerized by this man. I am not trying to justify anything here by this story, just sharing why I think NICK RHODES is the ULTIMATE ICON. To me, he possesses all that I look for in a man, he is BRILLIANT, SEXY and has the most wonderful personality! I think he is tremendously gifted as an artist. I have NEVER encountered anyone that possesses what this man has always had, he was born with a gift to CREATE. And when God put a man like that on this earth, he knew there would be no other like him. I know that NICK fans are DEDICATED in our own way. Maybe we are not always vocal about it, but we show it. We know how WE feel about him and are quite proud about all he is and all he means to us! But, I believe that WE are VERY VOCAL about it when the time calls for it. WE can be very EXCITED and very INTENSE about OUR MAN. It is something I take VERY seriously, and a dedication that will NEVER be broken by anything or anyone who dares to try and change my mind or stray me in any way. For after all these years, I am just as dedicated and always will be FOREVER. DEDICATION takes a STRONG WILL that not everyone possesses but NICK fans do. We are dedicated people and we understand what it means to follow, adore and LOVE someone like NICK. He is an artist and an icon. For almost 20 years now, WE have been here dedicated to NICK & DURAN DURAN. We must always I mean always show our STRENGTH and DEDICATION to what we believe is BEAUTIFUL, and what is BEAUTIFUL is NICK RHODES of DURAN DURAN. A vow that cannot be broken or changed in anyway. As I write this review for yet another FANTASTIC DURAN experience, I want to share with you how I went about getting a ticket for this RARE DURAN event. I was at work and I was thinking about going down to where it was being taped, during my lunch hour mind you! and just taking a chance to see if there were tickets left. I got about three different stories from security people, vh-1 staff. But, as I had noticed some friends of mine (LOL!) that were RHODIES! (What luck!!!!) And one of them a very, very, very nice person whom I shall be indebted to forever and ever as long as I live and breathe a RHODES GIRL, gave me an extra ticket!!!!!! I could hardly breathe! I was standing there and could not believe that I was holding a ticket for DURAN DURAN'S HARD ROCK LIVE! I was so excited that I called one of my very best friends JODI, who had won a ticket to this taping and told her I just landed an ticket! She was vey happy for me! I could barely compose my self talking to her! I was so EXCITED!!!!! Being a RHODIE for 19 years can do that to a girl! I don't know how I got through the rest of my day at work! (It is still a total blur!) All I could think about was NICK!!!!!! and the fact that I was going to see DD again!!!!!!!!! I had seen them three times in August, and yes I know all of you have read the reviews on this page!! I was so THRILLED! More than anything, I was so grateful to the girl VALERIE who had given it to me!!!!!! If you read this review, I must say again THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Now on to my NICK review! LOL! I mean DURAN review! The second NICK stepped onto that stage wearing the LET IT FLOW pink shirt, silver pants that has rhinestones all over them! (NICK MUST ALWAYS WEAR TIGHT PANTS!!!!) and a PINK COWBOY HAT! My god he looked absolutely LUSCIOUS!!!! All my eyes saw during that entire show was THE MAN!!!! NICK! NICK! NICK! I was so focused on him and he looked so SEXY!!!! I couldn't even concentrate on the songs! LOL! he looked so luscious!!!! He smiled at us several times! Me and my other RHODIES!!!! I could see that he felt the DEDICATION in the room!!!! YUM! YUM! I screamed out his name throughout the entire show!!!! He noticed me EVERY time! I could see him looking directly at me! And my other friend Rianna, who is also a SERIOUS RHODIE! was acting just as crazy for the man as I was!!!! MmmmmmmmmmmmmHmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! That is about all I can say!!!!!!! YUM! YUM! YUM! As always SIMON was a GOD as well!!!!! Brilliant in ALL BLACK! and YUMMY as well!!!!!!!!! THANK GOD FOR MEN IN TIGHT PANTS! WE LOVE YA! WE ARE EVER SO GREATFUL! LOL!!!! I had one of the greatest experiences of a lifetime! and seeing them walk out into a waiting van to whisk them away was VERY NICE too!!!! Got a great view of NICK'S "backside" LOL!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! Yes, this is why I am A DURANGED RHODIE TO THE MAX!!

Hello again! This is yet another NICK review of another FANTASTIC DURAN experience! I had so much fun at this show! DURAN played the same AWESOME set list that they had played on this past summer's LET IT FLOW tour, and they did ALL FOUR NEW songs! I was so so happy! They played "Hallucinating Elvis", "Someone Else Not Me", "Lava Lamp" and "Pop Trash Movie", a note for the NICK fans....Don't you just love NICK'S keyboard solo?!!!! **THUD**....Okay, now that I have regained consciousness!!!! I can go on with my review of one of the best shows this year!!!! My eyes were glued on NICK the entire time! I could not stop looking at him in his white shirt, RED tie, black jacket, and black pants, and those WHITE shoes from LET IT FLOW!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!! LUSCIOUS MAN is all I can say!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! THOSE LIPS were very LUSCIOUS....Every time he took a sip from that water bottle!!!! OMG!!!! OMG!!!!....Okay, I have now entered MEDAZZALAND!!!!....OMG!!!! But, anyway, He was SO GORGEOUS!!!! And yes, he did notice me from where I was standing!!!! Well, how could he miss me screaming out NICK!!!!!!!! every second! YAY!!!! YUMMY MAN!!! I could not believe how LUSCIOUS MY MAN looked!!!!!!! The concert itself was AMAZING!!!! SIMON was brilliant as usual! I was so THRILLED and EXCITED to hear "SECRET OKTOBER" again! OMG!!!! **THUD!!!!**, this is such an AMAZING song! I was totally MESMERIZED! Between this and NICK playing with the MAGIC BOX during "OUT OF MY MIND" I was totally in HEAVEN during this show!!!! YUMMY!!!! SIMON was of course in all black! and had a YUMMY brown jacket on!!!!!! VERY COOL! They were standing before us during the WAY TOO LONG introduction....and we went TOTALLY INSANE!!!!!!! It was too long for me!!!! They were standing there perfectly still!!!! OMG!!!!! I was dying!!!!!!! I had been anticipating this all day mind you, so that is why it was too long!!!! I was like OMG!!!!! I could kidnap NICK!!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!! I certainly had the chance too!!!!! LOL!!!!!!! And yes, as I close this review, I am so happy to say that I was able to see them five times this year, and I look forward to DURAN-DEMONIUM 2000!!!!!!!! Hope to see you all there, especially my best friend STARR, and my NEW best friend Carolynn and Monica, who so generously gave me her extra ticket to the show, I will forever thank you!!!! This was an INCREDIBLE performance! I had gotten there around 7:30, and was so excited to be there and to have a decent view of NICK & SIMON. I knew I wasn't going to be in front! (LOL!) I wish I could have, but some people had gotten there the night before, so the front row was occupied by then! Anyway, I had been anticipating this all week long and when the day finally came I was ready to see NICK and all his lusciousness! And he as usual, exceeded my expectations! He was the most adorable, precious, angel on earth! He was wearing a black jacket all zipped up, with the "HALLOWEEN" T-shirt under it! (LOL!) and those gray pants that look like parachute pants....Mmmmmmmmmmmm.....I LOVE THOSE!!!! and adorable little gray sneakers!!!!!!!! Awwwwwwwwwwww! And SIMON was wearing the cutest shirt with kittens on it, and black pants and black and white sneakers!!!! He was too cute!!!!! and SEXY as well, the both of them ULTRA SEXY! They sang four songs, first they played HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF, which was GREAT as usual! then came the NEW SINGLE, SOMEONE ELSE NOT ME, The first time I heard this song, I loved it! That was at PNC (NJ) last year :) 8/12/99! (LOL!) And I loved it! It is such a GREAT song :) The next was GIRLS ON FILM, which of course is a MAJOR DURANIE CROWD PLEASER!!! AS usual, was FANTASTIC!, and last but most certainly NOT least, was NOTORIOUS!!!! This was AMAZING! One of my favorite songs....(ONE OF MANY!!) (LOL!!!) Anyway, I had a great time and I can't wait for DURANDEMONIUM AUGUST 2000! Take care all. Love and kisses to NICK & SIMON FOREVER! Here I go again! Yet another GREAT DURAN DURAN experience! I have to say that this was a truly wonderful and memorable experience for me, first the band put on a GREAT show for us for a half an hour before the actual signing of POP TRASH began. The set list is as follows; Hallucinating Elvis, Notorious, Someone Else Not Me, Hungry Like The Wolf, Lava Lamp, Come Undone, and Playing With Uranium, this song in particular was AMAZING!!!! I think it is my favorite on the album at the moment! (This and POP TRASH MOVIE!)which is TV MANIA - AKA - ALL NICK ALL THE TIME - LOL! Anyway, as the afternoon continued, so did waiting to meet the band! (LOL!) The line circled around the lower level of the store, where the band was sitting at a table signing copies of POP TRASH, and even though we were told in advance that they were only signing copies of the album, this kind of bothered me at first because I have so many DURAN memorabilia in what I call the DURAN ARCHIVES in my closet! (LOL!) so, now when I think about it, I think it was AWESOME since this being what they are trying to promote at the moment! And I was not bothered by it at all. Anyway, when my time finally came after eight hours of waiting (Yes I remember how many hours I was out in that heat and humidity!!!! LOL!) The time was here to meet NICK & SIMON! I met SIMON first, it was okay, I was a tad annoyed since he was talking to someone and just signed his name on the CD, and I never got to actually say anything to him....I did give him the teddy bear I brought for him though! LOL! But, now it was time to meet my ALL TIME FAVORITE DURAN MAN, I was nervous, scared and just crazed! But, let me just say this....NICK IS A SAINT! He deserves that title a billion times over! He was so sweet, kind, beautiful and so adorable I could have eaten him up! LOL! how precious! I have never seen someone so excited about getting a teddy bear! Awwwwwwwwww!!!! When I was about to give it to him, he had his arms all ready to hug the bear! And he did! right there in front of me! **THUD!!!!** He loved his teddy bear :) He even said and I will NEVER EVER forget this, he said "Teddy Bear" to me! Awwwwwwwww!!!!! how precious is this man? I want to adopt him for my very own! He is so cute! NICK was THE HIGHLIGHT of this GREAT day for me he has been my favorite since 1981, and has never disappointed me EVER! I am sure he was tired and exhausted, but he was an ANGEL & A SAINT! This man is truly MY ANGEL :) I will love you NICK always! the most precious man on earth! Many kisses to my NICK forever! In closing, I want to say that this experience was wonderful and beautiful and I would do it again in a heartbeat to meet my angel NICK RHODES.

18 years in the making.....THE REUNION OF THE FAB FIVE! I have to say this was THE BEST show to date for me after being a fan for 25 years. They had so much energy on the stage and it was so great to see them playing together as the original band after so many years of WAITING!!!! I was in awe of them, they gave the audience everything DURAN DURAN was meant to be.....For me personally, I have to say I screamed, I cried I showed every emotion imaginable at this show, I felt so incredibly happy for them, to see everything that they put into this show and all the reunion shows so far. It is truly amazing the GIFT that Duran Duran has given to all of us, There were so many highlights that I will NEVER forget, for one it was hearing NEW RELIGION after so many years! what a great surprise! and of course WILD BOYS was another amazing surprise for me, I enjoyed the new material immensely, there is still that Duran Duran energy and CLASSIC Duran Duran sound that I have been addicted to since I became a fan at the age of 7. Now that I am 30 years old, Duran Duran has never changed for me, I am still just as ENTHUSIASTIC, AMAZED and still feel like a teenager every time I see them! It has NEVER changed and NEVER will for me. I know that some of us FANS have gotten older and perhaps there enthusiasm has changed a bit, but mine has always been the same, since in my heart I will always feel that they are and always have been a HUGE part of my life for 25 years! That can never change, the memories brought back at this show will last with me FOREVER. Thank you DURAN DURAN. I will always love you SIMON NICK JOHN ANDY and ROGER...YOU ROCK FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!! 2005 ASTRONAUT WORLD TOUR!!!! We have waited for this now haven't we my fellow insatiable Duran Girls and Guys? Yes, this show was in a word AMAZING! my best Duranie pal and I had a BLAST at this show, the guys looked and sounded INCREDIBLE! It was GREAT to hear SOUND OF THUNDER! I was so wishing for this song, and I got my wish! The band was really on top and looked like they were having a great time and the fans were too trust me.

Except for these idiots sitting in front of us, who were just sitting there throughout the ENTIRE show and not even clapping or anything!!!! But I look at it as my friends and I had a better view of all the action going on on stage! and trust me the action was HOT! we were screaming and dancing to every song and singing everything! we had been anticipating this for a while so we were going to enjoy ourselves to the MAX. I also had a blast meeting some new fans who were just so incredible to meet and hang out with pre-show! Most especially DuranFan0620 and her awesome daughter (who totally ROCKS!!!!), GeorgieGirl, and Pepster (who sat with us at the show) is one of the sweetest people ever! I miss you guys already, and it has only been a week since the show! (LOL!) Well, here I am writing a review of another incredible Duran Duran experience.

I look forward to another AWESOME tour and to meeting my best pals again and having a blast and creating more incredible DURAN DURAN memories!!!!

LIVE IN LONDON CONCERT DVD

Hello again everyone! I just got the new DURAN DURAN DVD LIVE IN LONDON, and I was just amazed beyond words, it is one of the GREATEST DURAN DURAN shows EVER! The band just look so happy and excited by the crowd and the music. It is great to see them play with such energy and excitement, the set list was GREAT and I love that it included so many of the greatest DURAN DURAN hits ever. It is truly a MUST HAVE for EVERY DURANIE out there in planet earth! (LOL!) I was impressed by the bonus features as well, the documentary was very cool discussing the bands early periods up until now as told by the band members themselves and the image gallery is a blast!

I highly recommend getting this DVD as told by my best friend STARR and she was TOTALLY right too! This DVD ROCKS! and I give it an A+! Go out and buy it now! and you will be amazed by one of the greatest DURAN DURAN shows ever.
