1) The Other Five Percent was a new perspective for me because I have always been a part of the 5%. Your main character explored for me the kind of person it is in being part of the other 95%. It summed it up I think when he said (paraphrased) "I don't want to know what is outside this city for fear of upsetting everything." - like it was secure to only know what he'd always known, and the fear of the unknown was just too great. I suggested it be a play because of the logistics of the scenes - they lend themselves well to a stage, and the main characters are interesting. I also think the jokes would go over really well with a live young audience. (I love the Fred Savage joke btw).

2A) I read your semi-autobiography, and can I tell you that you must be the best guy I know... any guy that could ever admit everything that you did fucking rocks. I want you to send me your other stories.... I loved it, your amazing and you almost had me crying, but I restrained...

2B) Randy, I just finished reading your writings and I have to say that you amaze me, end of story. You put everything into your stories and plays, and that alone infatuates me... I got so caught up with them, especially The Painting stories, "I love you too, Kathie..." Can I tell you how much I cried... You're the most honest person if you can put all that into perspective.... I admire you and your work greatly.
