Silver's Markings

Silver walked around in her human form. She was to young a dragon for all of this, at a mear 500 hundred years she had the weight of a thousand warps on her shoulders. "ack," she said and flopped down on her bed which was huge since she usually slept in her dragon form. Blue smiled in understanding and walked over to her. She watched Blue as he kneeled down next to her and started to rub her back. She sighed and tried to relax as Blue slowly began to undressed her. "What you need love," he said "is a hot bath." Once she was naked, he lifted her up and walked over to the hot springs. After gentle setting her in, he to got undressed and got in. "Better," he asked her. "Yea," she replied as she let the heat relaxes her body.

Blue felt bad for her and wished there was something her could do....but he knew she had to deal with it on her own. She had just found out she was a true elder and her mothers was the leader of this untouchable group that she had never even dared to dream about being. In the last two eight day weeks she had moved from the carefree life, were her biggest goal had been to make Master in the next few years, to becoming a true elder. He couldn't even imagine. In the next hour she needed to go receive both her arm band and her jewel. Plus she might need to pick her symbolic weapon and shield markings. This was to much for her to handle. He looked over at her and smiled at the sight. The slightly silver tinted skin would always give her away as a dragon or another energy being. As his eyes romed over her body he chuckled to himself. This was not the time. Blue got out and drying him self off. "Silver," he said gently in to her ear. "It is time to get ready." Silver opened her eyes and nodded. "I will be ready in a minute," she replied.

Silver stepped in to the concil room. Even though she was excited, she was so tired that even the others could tell she was worn down. Silver had been proven to be a true elder when she had took the test, but they had made it so she would forget that they knew. She hadn't even expected it, so when her mother had told her by telepathy, she had just sat there, struck dumb. "Ok," said the 2nd in command, "lets get moving. Silver Dragon, you are called to serve your warp as a True Elder. With all the privileges and responsibilities that comes with it. Do you accept?" Silver said quietly, "Yes I do." So he continued, "then I present you with this Silver Arm Band." Silver took it and placed it on her arm. It was a perfect fit. She winced as it burned in to her scales. When it was finished all she had was a scar in the shape of a snake curling around her arm. "Now usually we wait a year or two before you get the next honor, but we need you to be a full fledged member now. So I present you with the diamond." At this Silver gasped in surprise. The diamond was only given to 3 members of the True Elders. The most powerful, she understood now. She was expected to inherit her mothers power. She looked at the diamond placed in her hand. It was a symbol of great power. She slowly placed it against her farad and screamed in pain as it burned in to her scales. It inbedded it self half way in to her then stopped and healed the wounds it caused. "Good," replied the older dragon, "It excepts you. Now for your weapon and shield." What do you want." Silver had always wanted a spear, but the answer that came out of her mouth was, "A sword and my shield makings will be, nothing more then a claw slash." The whole assembly was shocked and she wondered why. Then her mother said, "let it be done." Her mother Satcoda looked at her, "you don't even know what you just did, do you?" She asked Silver and when Silver replied, "No." She smiled, "A simple claw slash is not simple at all. It is used to repel evil. You will live up to your prophesy yet, my daughter."
