The reasons..................Edge comes out.  Christian in the back lockerroom watching. Lockup and Storm gets a waistlock. Edge with a go behind but Storm gets out and puts a hammerlock. Reverse by Edge and a side headlock by Storm. Flapjack on Storm and a drop kick follows. Clothesline on Storm over the top rope. Storm gets dropped face first on the apron. Edge rolls him back in the ring. In the corner, Edge with right hands. Whip to the other side and Edge up and over the ropes to land on the apron. Pulls Storm down by the hair. Off the ropes with a crossbody for 2.  Edge gets crotched on the ropes and knocked off and into the barricade face first he goes. Outside Lance with kicks to the body all over Edge. Back in the ring, Storm kicks Edge hard on the chest. Trash talks Edge on the mat. Slaps him. Knee to the midsection and Edge goes down again for 2. Another knee to the midsection and follows up with a few more. Edge with a rollup for 2. Front suplex by Storm for 2. Knee to the gut of Edge on the mat for 2. Boots off the head of Edge. Keeps taunting Edge that way until enough is enough. Edge misses the drop kick and Storm tries for the Maple Leaf. Edge with an inside cradle for 2. Storm with a cover for 2. WWF lockerroom shown again cheering Edge on. Storm with a whip to the corner and beats on Edge. Edge comes back short but gets stopped with a knee to the midsection. Storm with a fireman's carry slam for 2. Knee to the back of Edge repeatedly. Modified camel clutch but Edge refuses to submit. Edge tries to fight back but only winds up back on the mat. Storm jumps on Edge's chest for 2. Chokes Edge on the ropes. Edge with right hands to try and fight back. Abdominal stretch by Storm and he pounds on the lower back of Edge. Edge hiptosses Storm over the top rope but he lands on the apron. goes up on the top rope and comes off only to be caught by Edge who turns it into a POWERSLAM!! Ref counts. Edge with a right hand to Storm and Storm gives one back. Clotheslines by Edge. High big back body drop by Edge. Drop kick on Storm for 2.  Jawbreaker by Storm. Storm with a kick to the midsection and a powerslam for 2. Storm goes for a huricanranna but Edge turns it into a POWERBOMB! Irish whip reversed. Half Boston crab put on Edge by Storm but Edge makes his way to the ropes.  Edge puts it on Storm. Christian comes down to the ring and goes to spear Storm but hits Edge instead. Storm covers for 2. Edge with a kick to the midsection and DDT for the win!!!! Christian in the ring embracing Edge. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!!!

Test with Dudleys backstage. Cole asks Test why he turned his back on WWF. He says he didn't turn his back on them, they turned their back on him. He was there with the rest of them saying how the Rock was coming back etc. And he got rewarded with an ass kicking that he didn't deserve. Talks about the Dudley Boys and says they got overshadowed by Spike and his girlfriend Molly. Says he got disgusted and went with a boss who really cares, Shane McMahon. Says tonight he'll show loyalty.

Chris Jericho with Lilian who says he's got to be under pressure. He says thanks Vivian. He still hasn't beaten Rhyno but there's a first time for everything. And you always remember your first time. Just think of Stephanie, she must have remembered her first time with all the captains of the sports teams and other clubs. He says she feels confident because they are in the middle of Silicon Valley where she's probably calling home. He says he will leave Rhyno flat.

Spike/APA v Test/Dudley Boys. Buh Buh with Faarooq to start. Buh Buh and Dvon with a doubleteam on Faarooq already. Dvon in and whipped to the corner but gets the boot up to the face. Back kick takes Faarooq down again. Gets caught by Faarooq with a SPINEBUSTER!! Test in with hard right hands to the head. In the corner beats on Faarooq. Whips to the other side but Faarooq comes out with an elbow. Test's head bounced off Bradshaw's boot. Bradshaw with the dropped elbow and a back elbow and another back elbow to take him down. Buh Buh stops the powerbomb. Test with a suplex on Bradshaw. Dvon in and gets hammered on the back by Bradshaw. DDT on Dvon for 2. Spike in with an inside cradle for 2. Takedown on Dvon for 2. Right hands on Dvon. Buh Buh catches him and drops him on the top rope to stop his momentum. Buh Buh with kicks to the ribs. Puts Spike on the top rope and he falls down and gets kicked by Buh Buh. Test in but misses the elbow drop. SPINEBUSTER BY TEST! Test with hard rights to the head of the litle guy. Dvon and Buh Buh bring out the table. Test picks up Spike in a gorills press but Spike rakes his eyes and falls on top of him. Buh Buh pulls Spike down by the hair on the apron. Dvon in with a shot to the ribs on Spike. Buh Buh in and a doubleteam and Spike goes face first high and hard for 2. Scoop slam by Dvon and up on the ropes he goes. Spike moves and Dvon misses the splash. Bradshaw in with Test who gets a big boot. Whips Test to the corner and follows with a clothesline. Same thing to the other side. Sidewalk slam on Test. Back elbows on Buh Buh. Faarooq in and doubleteam on Buh Buh. Test whips Bradshaw but gets caught when he tries the splash. Buh Buh drops Bradshaw. Faarooq in and takes Dudleys outside. Bradshaw with the POWERBOMB for 2. Buh Buh pulls Bradshaw outside. Spike thrown over the ropes and through the table!!! SHANE IN WITH A CHAIR ON BRADSHAW!! Test covers for the win!!

WWF lockerroom congratulating Edge on his win. Christian says he went to Regal and got a match against Matt for tomorrow for the European title. Christian on the phone with Grandma and tries to tell him the news but she asks for Edge. He gets on the phone and they talk about his win. When Christian gets back on the phone, she's hung up.

Debra in the back and Stasiak walks in and asks for Steve. He says he's screwed up the past few weeks and he thinks it's from the trunks. She says they don't care what his trunks say and why is he in there looking for Austin when he's preparing for a very important match tonight against Angle. She says he can impress Steve by going and kicking somebody's butt and knock on the door next time.

Tajiri v Xpac in a Title for Title Match. Match starts with both of them showing off their skills. Armdrag on Tajiri and the crowd booes. Test of strength and Xpac gets Tajiri down. Tajiri comes back with a twist of the wrist and down goes Xpac for 2. Side headlock and a takedown on Tajiri. Tajiri gives him a paintbrush on the head as retaliation. Kick to the midsection and side headlock by Xpac and a shoulder takedown. Tajiri blocks the armdrag. Tajiri with a huricanranna and a baseball slide to the outside. Springboard moonsault connects with Xpac outside. Xpac drives Tajiri into the ringpost and kicks him in the back. In the ring, Xpac poses for the crowd. Tajiri comes over the top rope only to get hit by Xpac with a spinning heel kick. Surfboard on Tajiri. Xpac with a flurry of rights on the back of the head of Tajiri. Tajiri goes for a huricanranna but Xpac counters it into a powerbomb for 2. In the corner, Xpac kicks him down and gives him a boot on the throat. Goes for the Bronco Buster and winds up in the tree of woe. Tajir iwith a baseball slide to the face. Xpac knocked down again by a back kick. Handspring by Tajiri for another 2 count. TARANTULA!!! Goes up on the top rope and down with a cross body but Xpac rolls it over for 2. Tajiri crotches Xpac on the top turnbuckle and climbs up. Gets pushed off but comes back and takes Xpac down face first. Slingshot on Xpac into the top turnbuckle and a suplex for 2 by Tajiri. Tajiri goes for a kick but goes over the top rope and gets kicked off the apron. Xpac with a somersault plunge over the top landing on Tajiri. Rolls Tajiri back in. Tajiri with a kick to the head. Another handspring springboard for 2. Counter and Xpac gets 2. Another counter and they go back and forth for 2 counts. Albert comes down to the ring. Spinning heel kick on Tajiri. Xpac goes for a powerbomb but Tajiri hits with a kick. Albert comes down but gets kicked off the apron.  Xpac with a low blow and XFACTOR FOR THE WIN!! Double champion!

Perry Saturn at WWF New York looking for his mop. He says he's still looking for his mop and he knows she didn't run away cause they're in love. Says he needs the fans to help him find her. Has her face on the side of milk cartons.

Stephanie in the back with Rhyno telling him how important this is personally for her to take out Jericho tonight. Says he's special because Jericho's never beaten him. Tells him to Gore him through the ring. Rhyno says he'll finish Jericho off tonight once and for all.

Rhyno v Chris Jericho. Stephanie accompanies Rhyno down to the ring. Crowd definitely behind Jericho. Lockup and they roll around the ropes. clean breakup. They exchange right hands. Side headlock by Rhyno and a shoulder takedown. Leapfrog by Jericho and a duck under a clothesline and a crossbody on Rhyno. Chops by Jericho. Rhyno tries to throw Jericho over the top rope but he lands on the apron and goes up on the top rope. Comes off with a drop kick and puts Rhyno down. Goes for the Walls of Jericho but the manbeast crawls to the ropes. Over the top rope Rhyno goes and gets kicked off the apron with a springboard by Jericho. Jericho on the top ropes again but Stephanie comes and holds his ankle. He kicks her off the apron and goes off the ropes to Rhyno but gets caught in a GORE on the way down. Both men down and ref counts. Rhyno puts Jericho in the ring and covers for 2. Drops Jericho over the top rope on his midsection. Stomps him down on the mat. Rhyno distracts the ref while Stephanie slaps Jericho with a hard right hand. Rhyno back and gives another right hand to the head. Body scissors by Rhyno. Jericho screaming and fighting. Jericho comes back with elbows to the face. Rhyno clamps on the ribs once more. Jericho with a barrage of right hands but gets picked up and an airplane spin and then a slam for 2. Rhyno with a kick to the head. Pulls Jericho's arms back with his knee in his back. Jericho fights his way back up and chops on Rhyno. Rollup for 2. Rhyno with a kick to the midsection and a back suplex. Rhyno on the top rope but misses the connection. Double clothesline and both men down. Ref counts. Up at 9. Jericho with a backslide for 2. Hard rights to Rhyno and a forearm to the head. Chops again on Rhyno. Almost misses the springboard onto Rhyno. Chops on Rhyno again and gets whipped to the corner. Jericho comes up with the boots and gets it full force in the face. Jericho on the top ropes and slips again. Rhyno covers for 2. Jericho's head bounced off the turnbuckle. Rhyno with a kick to the midsection and whips Jericho to the corner. Jericho on the 2nd rope and missile drop kick on Rhyno. Stephanie distracts the ref when Jericho covers. Jericho pushes the ref out of the way. Stops Steph from hitting him and gives her a liplock. BULLDOG ON RHYNO!! LIONSAULT misses but he lands on his feet. LIONSAULT connects this time for 2. Stephanie gagging on the outside. Kick to the chest on Rhyno. SPINEBUSTER ON JERICHO! Rhyno puts the Walls of Jericho on Jericho! Jericho crawls to the ropes to break the hold. Rhyno pulls him back to the middle of the ring but Jericho hits him with an inseguri. Belly to belly suplex by Rhyno. Sets up for the gore. Jericho gets up and moves and Rhyno hits the ringpost. Puts him in the Walls of Jericho for the submission win!!!!!!!! Stephanie very upset and throwing a tantrum.

Rock shown in the back with Regal. Regal asks him if he's 100% for tonight. Rock stops him and says yeah he got Rock bottomed and got hurt but he's here at Summer Slam. Asks if Booker T will keep him out of the PPV? The only think he managed to do was piss him off. Asks if Regal hears it. Rocky chant goes up. Regal hears it. Rock asks him if he feels it. Do you feel the electricity in the air because you're standing next to the next WCW champion. Asks one more question. Do you smell it? Regal says smell what? Stasiak goes to hit Rock and goes into the garage door instead. Rock says smell what the Rock is cookin.

RVD v Jeff Hardy in Hardcore Ladder Match. Lockup and RVD gets a hammer lock on Jeff. Reverse and they use waistlocks and go behinds. Lockup and armwringer on Jeff and kicks to the ribs. Jeff back with the double low legdrop. Rob whipped to the corner. Kick to the midsection on Jeff and tries to put him through the ropes. RVD drops Jeff over the top but he lands on the apron and pulls Van Dam over the top instead. Jeff with a flying crossbody over the top and hits RVD AND the table as well. Jeff thrown into the barricade. Kicks to the head by Rob. Drops Jeff over the barricade chest first. Comes off the barricade with a legdrop across Jeff's head. RVD gets the ladder and limps back to the ring. Jeff comes off the barricade with a clothesline and down they both go. Jeff grabs the ladder and puts it in the ring. RVD jumps off the barricade and hits the end of the ladder which sends the other end into the face of Jeff in the ring. Van Dam pulls the ladder in more and Jeff does the same thing to him. Jeff puts the ladder on the ropes and drives VanDam on it. Springboards himself onto Rob. both men holding parts of their bodies. Jeff with a leap over Rob. Folds up Van Dam and sits on him. Whip to the corner by Jeff but RVD gets an elbow up. Jeff in the tree of woe and gets shoulders to the midsection. RVD with a backflip and another shot. Ladder put on the ropes in the corner. Kick to the head of Jeff and kicked onto the ladder. RVD goes to the opposite corner on the top rope and does ROLLING THUNDER across the ring and hits Jeff on the ladder. Jeff under the ladder and RVd pulls him out. Spinning back heel kick to Jeff. Ladder on the ropes again by RVD. Back kick and Jeff onto the ladder. RVD with a guillotine legdrop on Jeff on the apron part of the ladder. Jeff manages to drop kick the ladder into Rob and sends him rolling back up the ramp. Van Dam in pain on the floor. Jeff sets up the ladder. Van Dam back up on his feet and on the top ropes. Hits Jeff on the ladder from the top rope and they go down. rob with kicks to the head. Scoop slam on Jeff and the ladder put on top of him. Van Dam with a tumbling back somersault onto the ladder. Both hurt again!! RVD sets up the ladder under the belt and starts to climb. Jeff on the top rope and drop kicks the ladder and down comes Van Dam. Rob lands on Jeff's legs! DDT on RVD!! Jeff up on the ropes and misses the Swanton Bomb. RVD on the top ropes and misses the 5 star frog splash. Jeff up first and puts the ladder up limping badly. Starts the climb up and RVD climbs on the other side. Jeff reaches for the belt and Van Dam punches him. SUPERPLEX OFF THE LADDER!!!! Van Dam starts the climb again. Jeff up on the other side. Jeff with right hands on RVD. Slams RVD's head on the top of the ladder. SUNSET FLIP OFF THE TOP!!! Jeff up and climbing again. Jeff standing on the top and RVD takes the ladder away. Jeff hanging by the belt. RVD trying to grab his legs and starts swinging him. Jeff drops down on top of RVD. Ladder goes up again and Jeff goes up. RVD pushes the ladder and Jeff falls catching his leg on the ropes and hitting his head on the mat. RVD up and grabs the belt! NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION!!!!

Shane in the back with Booker saying Rock is going down. Shane gives Booker a gift. He opens it and takes out bookends that Shane said he had made from the table he put the Rock through last week. Booker smiles and they embrace. Tells Shane he's dedicating the match to him.

Kanyon/DDP v Undertaker/Kane in a Steel Cage Match for the Tag Titles. Door gets shut and locked by Sara. DDP and Kanyon start to climb out of the ring quickly. Taker and Kane don't let it happen. Kanyon gets dropped from the top. Taker with the big boot to DDP. Kane chokes Kanyon with his boot. Taker with right hands. Page comes back with some of his own. Taker grabs him with a choke and puts him in the corner and pummels him with rights and lefts to the body. Page tries a kick to the head but gets a choke hold instead. Goes downstairs with a low kick and throws Taker into the cage side. Kane meanwhile is beating the crap out of Kanyon. DDP with a 2 count. Kanyon finally manages to get some shots in and they doubleteam on Taker. Kane comes back to get Page but gets knees to the midsection instead. Kanyon beat by Undertaker. Page bounced off the turnbuckle. Kanyon bounced over the ropes and off the side of the cage. Taker puts Page into the cage face first. Kanyon puts Kane into the cage. CHOKESLAM ON KANYON!!! Page bounced off the cage. Taker picks him up and throws him against the next side. Kane picks Kanyon up and drives him into the corner of the cage. Undertaker with hip splashes on Page. Kane whips Taker off the ropes for more momentum but Kanyon comes out of nowhere to clothesline Taker. Tries to get up the cage but Kane grabs him to pull him off. DDP with a DDT on Taker. Kanyon tells Page to leave the cage. They start to climb. Both Taker and Kane get up at the same time! Up they go to the top of the cage to grab Page and Kanyon. Kanyon hanging upside down. Undertaker standing on top of the cage and he kicks Page down onto the top rope. Tells Kane to let Kanyon go. Kanyon goes over the top and is outside the ring. Taker has a chain in the ring. Kanyon leaves DDP alone. Double clothesline on Page. Whip to the corner and Kane splashes. Another whip and Taker clotheslines. Sidewalk slam by Taker for 2. Taker pulls down his straps. Page tries to fight back but to no avail. Taker pounding on Page yelling at him to leave his wife alone. Undertaker picks up the chain and chokes Page with it and uses it to throw him against the cage. Goes for chokeslam but he stops. Tells Page to leave and he'll let him live. But if he ever looks at Sara again he'll kill him. Page starts to climb up. Taker changes his mind and CHOKESLAM FROM THE TOP ROPE!! LAST RIDE ON DDP FOR THE WIN!!!!! UNDERTAKER AND KANE DOUBLE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! Sara trash talks DDP on the mat.

Rock in the back with the doctor telling him he's okay to be at Summer Slam. Stasiak again tries to tackle Rock and misses as usual.

Kurt Angle v Steve Austin for WWF Championship. Both men stare at each other. Angle comes to the aisle to meet Austin. Austin drives hie head into the railing and chops on Angle. Grabs him and puts the belt in front of Angle's face and trash talks. In the ring Angle with a spear and hammers on Austin. Austin reverses and hammers right hands himself. Angle rolls over again and more right hands. Whip to the corner on Austin and Angle stomps him down. Austin comes back and whips Angle into the corner and chops on him. Austin reverses and hits with right hands on Austin. Whip on Angle but he comes back out of the corner with a clothesline. Cross body by Angle for 2. right hands again by Angle. Austin with a shot to the back of the head of Angle. Grabs Angle's leg and pulls on the hamstring and wrenches the knee. Jumps on the leg on the rope. Keeps working on the leg and puts on an ankle lock twisting the knee and ankle. Angle counters with a kick to the face and gets an ankle lock on of his own. Austin on the ropes for the break. goes outside to try and get a breather. Decks Angle. Back in the ring, Austin's right hands get blocked and Angle misses one shot and goes over the top rope. Austin outside and gives the finger to a fan who gets in his face. Back in the ring, back suplex by Austin. And another. Slaps the back of Angle's head. Another suplex and covers for 2. Goes for another suplex but Angle slides off and gets his own suplex. #2, #3. Austin fights with elbows to the face but #4 , #5, get in before Austin crawls to the ropes. #6 after Angle hammers on Austin's back. #7 and Angle lets go. Goes for the Angle Slam but Austin slides off and kicks him into the turnbuckle. Austin puts Angle on the top turnbuckle and chops him. Climbs up himself and Angle with body shots and pushes Austin off. Angle gets up and gets crotched. Austin back with right hands and climbs up again. SUPERPLEX OFF THE TOP!!! Both men down. Angle bleeding from the nose. Austin rolls away and uses the ropes to get up. STUNNER ON ANGLE!!! for 2! Austin goes after the ref about the count. STUNNER ON ANGLE AGAIN!! and Kurt goes outside this time. Austin outside again and drives Angle's head into the ringpost. Again Austin goes after the ref. Again pulls Angle up and drives him into the ringpost. Angle busted open and bleeding. A third trip to the ringpost for Angle. Austin goes for the belt but the ref takes it off him. #4 for Angle on the ringpost. #5 and Angle is a bloody mess!! Austin with right hands to the head. Pushes Angle against the apron and hits with hard right hands. Angle falls down. Austin blows his nose at the camera. Rolls Kurt back into the ring for the cover for 2. Throws Angle outside again. Back to the ringpost we go for Angle's head. Bounces Angle's head off the Spanish announce table. Austin picks Angle up but he slides off and pushes Austin over the railing into the crowd. Austin suplexes Angle over the railing onto the concrete. Back over the railing they come. Angle's face a red mask. Angle grabs Austin's ankle as he comes over the railing. Ref makes him break the hold. Kurt drags him to the ring by the legs and puts the ankle lock on there. Austin makes it to the ropes. Austin rolls outside. Angle comes outside and gives a belly to belly suplex on the floor. Austin with right hands again. Angle ducks and another suplex on the floor. Austin's head bounced off the announce table. Back in the ring, Angle on the ropes. MOONSAULT CONNECTS!!! for 2. Angle with right hands on Austin. Austin tries for a slam but Angle slides behind him. Austin counters with a cobra clutch and takes down Angle on the mat. Angle finds the fight and comes up and uses the ropes to fall back on Austin for 2. Cobra clutch still on Angle. Ref gets one arm drop, two, and third almost hits but Angle fires up and throws Austin outside. Austin comes back in from behind and waits for Angle to get up. STUNNER ON ANGLE!!! for 2. Austin throwing a fit and a half!!! Angle trying to climb up Austin's legs. And does. Austin slaps him. ANGLE SLAM ON AUSTIN!!! Covers for 2. Angle grabs him with the ankle lock but again Austin on the ropes. Austin nails the ref!! Angle with a DDT. A new ref comes in and counts the 2. Austin with a low blow. STUNNER ON THE REF!!! Austin takes his belt and goes back in the ring. Another ref comes in and tries to stop him from using the belt but Austin nails him too. ANGLE SLAM!! Nick Patrick comes in and DQ's Austin for excessive abuse towards the refs. Angle yelling NOOOOO!  Puts Patrick in the ring and beats the hell out of him and puts him in the ankle lock. Lets him go. Austin keeps the title. ANGLE GOT SCREWED!!!

Booker T v Rock for the WCW Title. Rock starts with right hands all over Booker and down he goes. Rock chases Shane and a cameraman goes down. Coming back into the ring, Booker waiting but Rock  throws him into Shane and off the apron he goes and then gets the Samoan drop for 2. Knee to the midsection on Rock. Booker with right hands but Rock reverses it. Booker quickly stops the Rock. rock with an inside cradle for 2. Knee to the midsection on Rock and back kick for 2. Right hands exchanged in the middle of the ring. Booker thrown over the top. Rock follows him out and introduces him to the announce table. Keeps bouncing his head off it. Booker rolls over and Rock grabs him and pounds him with a low blow on the table. Booker comes back with a knee to the midsection and drives Rock's head into the ring steps. Crotches Rock on the barricade. Booker with a right hand and Rock goes into the crowd. booker with a hard clothesline to take Rock down. Drops Rock on the barricade face first. Kicks all over the body. Back to the ring and over the barricade they come. Booker takes the table apart. Rock comes back with right hands but gets thrown into the ringpost shoulder first. Shane on the apron. Rock gets dropped on the barricade again. Back in the ring, Rock comes back with a short flurry of right hands but meets the big boot from Booker T. for 2. Shortarm clothesline by Booker. Scissor kick to the head of Rock. Rock back with a shot to the midsection and some rights to the head. Cross body by Booker when Rock comes off the ropes for 2. Reverse chinlock on Rock. Rock's arm drops once, twice and pulls up at three. Booker stretches Rock's arms but he fights up and gets out of it. Rock gets the SHARPSHOOTER ON BOOKER!! Shane on the apron. Rock grabs Shane and brings him in the hard way. Booker with a back kick and down Rock goes for 2. Rock with a shortarm clothesline on Booker. Slingshot on Booker into the turnbuckle. DDT for 2 by Rock. Shane with a chair on the apron. Walks around with the belt. Booker crawls to the chair. Shane comes in and clocks Rock with the belt. Ref with Booker about the chair. APA DOWN!! and Shane gets CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!! BOOKEND ON ROCK!! Ref outside with Shane. Both men down. Booker covers for 2. Rock back with right hands to block the ones Booker tries to land. Rock with a flying right hand and a belly to belly overhead suplex for 2. Knee to the midsection by Booker. SPINEBUSTER BY ROCK!!
