Southern Exposure, was held October 1st to 3rd, 2004 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. The events were "Legends in the Hills" and "Not for Gondor".

"Legends in the Hills"/ Friday 8pm: We played out a live game from our Arnor Mage Tower campaign. Silva (Anderson Ramroop) received the Battle-Mage Circlet from Trisaval (Shawn Morin). The characters fought a Rock Troll that attacked the tower. A player was possessed by a dread spirit serving the Witch King when the mage Uriel (visiting player Joe) took a chance and failed, he killed Simon Mok’s Undead Hunter but was shot down by Tilden the Ranger (Dean Norman). Gornaghal (Mike Vapnik’s but played in absentia) and Gorn (visiting player Chris) were killed attacking the Rock Troll. And somehow Fingers (Brian Beyer) crippled the Rock Troll so the others could kill it.

"Not for Gondor" / Saturday 3pm: Ithilien Rangers again contract the mercenary company of the "Stalkers" (what remains of them) for a final mission against the Corsairs of Umbar, who have re-occupied Harondor with an Iron Fist. The Town of Chyrefal suffers the retribution of the Corsairs for Chyrefal's support of the mercenaries in the past, and their raid upon a Corsair fort 2 years ago. But this is a dangerous mission because spies and traitors of the past would wish another chance against the Stalkers and the Ranger advisors.

The mission went wrong even before the Rangers set foot on shore. Attacked by other mercenaries (hired by the Corsairs) while landing they dodged patrols for a day then escaped the next night. The Stalkers fared worse as 2 experienced troopers died and a third deserted, leaving the Corsairs firmly in control.
