Modifications

• K&N Aircharger
  • I have installed a K&N Aircharger intended for a 1995-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo. I am told the Aircharger is identical to the Filtercharger Injection Performance Kit for the Stealth/3000GT. However, the Aircharger flows slightly more air and costs less than half the price of the FIPK. This is because the Aircharger is not CARB certified and is intended for Off-Road use only.
  
  
• Custom Fabricated Exhaust Segment
  • I decided to replace a segment of the exhaust system which contained two resonators. The resonators feature a straight-through design. Therefore, an increase in power or torque would not be gained. However, I felt the car was much too quiet to be taken seriously. I had Meineke custom fabricate a new segment which did not contain resonators. The segment is a straight-pipe with slight bends. The volume and tone of the exhaust was changed. The exhaust is slighly louder with a throaty tone and a slight burble can now be heard.
