This is the poem I wrote for the most beautiful woman in the world. Jen I love you and I will always love you from here to eternity.

I have a friend
To me she's quiet dear
I can't go a week
Without her near

I have a friend
Who is my world
When she's around
My heart starts to twirl

I do not think
I could last a week
Without her smile
Or not to hear her speak

When she's near
my heart's all a flutter
But these words to her
I could not utter

Oh how I wish
I wish every day
For a loving glance
To come my way

I do not mind
the lack of sleep
As long as her love
Is mine to keep

My love for her
is deep like a sea
In my heart
she will always be

But life moves on
And I am alone
My love for her
May never be shown

So I ask you
am I too late?
Or is it just life
and this is my fate

Sonnet by Pablo Neruda

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

that this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
