The next International Convention will be in DC. I believe the following information is correct as from what Mr. Werfel said at the South Centeral RTC...We will be taken between 3 to 4 buses to the DC area on Sunday, July 1st 2001. We will be in the main convention hotel, because we are the home district to International President Kapsky. We will be going to King's Dominain in VA, (it's a great amusement park...fastest roller coaster in VA - Volcano) and (did I mention it has a roller coaster that you stand on). There will be a dance on the Mall for Key Clubbers, we will watch fireworks from the reagan Center. We will also have about 6 hours to site see in the city, and will be visiting the Holocaust Museum there as well (I highly recommend it!). On top of this, this year's Convention will start on Tuesday and go to Saturday unlike past years were it went from Saturday to Tuesday.
Because we are taking buses this year the cost should be in the $790's or so...***Webmaster's personal opinion*** go to this year's Convention, DC is awesome and it makes great memories, and friends you'll never forget...I know from last year in Florida!
