"I can't wait until school ends!" Casey told Jessie at the party.
"Neither can anyone!" Jessie replied, with a know-it-all look.
"No, I'm going to Tulsa!"
"Why are you going to Tulsa..." Kristi asked Casey, walking into the room with a strange look on her face. "And why are you two in here by yourselves? The party's in the other room."
"Oh, I'm going to see my friend Taylor." Casey smiled. "I haven't seen him for 4 years. He'll be so happy that I'm coming. He keeps asking me when I'm going to visit him."
"Taylor who?" Kristi asked, slightly anxious.
"Taylor Hanson, why?" Casey looked confused. Why would anyone want to know who Taylor was.
"Oh my God, THE Taylor Hanson?" Krisit squeaked.
"Um, if you mean Taylor Hanson from Tulsa, who has 3 brothers, Ike, Zac, and Mackenzie, and 2 sisters, Jessica and Avery, then yeah." Casey still had a confused look on her face.
"You mean Hanson, the band, who's CD is Middle of Nowhere?"
"Yeah, that's it..I forgot the name of the CD. Tay would've killed me he heard that. You like them?"
"Are you kidding!? I love them! How do you know Tay?" Kristi squealed.
"Um, I moved here from Tulsa 4 years ago. I've known Taylor forever. I used to see him everyday."
"You've been in his house?!"
"Yeah...all the time." Wait till I tell Tay this, Casey thouht. He'll laugh.
"Hold on a sec." Kristi ran into the other room, which Casey just realized that Hanson was balsting from the speakers (she knew Tay's voice anywhere, and she recognized the song), then ran back with her good friend Lizzie.
"Guess what Lizzie!" Kristi screamed, "Did you know that Casey knows Taylor?"
"Taylor Hanson?" Lizze asked, doubting her friend, "I don't think so."
"Really!" Kristi went on, "and she's going to visit him after school's out."
"How do you know Taylor?" Lizzie asked Casey.
"Well, I only lived next door to him for 10 years and saw him every day. Why do you guys care so much?"
"Are you kidding!" Lizzie yelled. "They're the best band in the world! I love them so much!"
"I'll be sure to tell them that," Casey laughed.
"You talk to them a lot?" Kristi gasped, openmouthed.
"Yeah, " Casey answered, the confused look coming back. "I call him all the time..."
"OH MY GOD!!!!!!" Kristi and Lizzie screamed at the same time.
"Hi, Jessie, this is Casey...is your brother there?"
"Hello?" Tay's voice asked.
"Hi Tay!!" Casey happily answered.
"Oh, it's you." Tay sounded relieved.
"Who'd you think it was?" Casey asked him.
"A crazed girl." he answered.
"Taking the fame well." Casey laughed.
"Hey, these girls keep calling and screaming on the phone, and there's people sitting on the lawn!" Tay added, sounding kind of disgusted.
"Well, anyway, I gotta tell you something."
"What?" Tay asked.
"I'm gonna come to Tulsa!" Casey shrieked.
"Really, when!?" Tay's voice got into a happy tone.
"Right after school ends, in the beginning of July."
"Oh my God!" Tay yelled, "Are you serious?? I haven't seen you in 4 years! Are you going to stay at your house?"
"Nope, I'm the only one going. My mom and your mom talked, and I'm gonna stay with you for a couple of weeks!"
"Yes!" Tay yelled. "I can't wait!"
"Tay, guess what, you're famous here too! You should have heard my friends last night. I went to a party, and I told my friend Jessie I was going to visit you, and my friends Kristi and Lizzie heard, and they wouldn't stop asking me questions! I knew you'd become famous!!"
"Wow!" Tay answered. "So, what day are you coming?"
"July 1st...Tay, I have to go. My mom wants me to take out the trash...probably because we were talking for an hour. Bye! See ya soon!"
"Bye Casey!" Tay excitedly answered, hanging up.
