Chapter 6- I'm Finally Back in Tulsa!

"Oh my God, I'm going back to Tulsa!" Casey was totally freaking out.

"Calm down!" Jessie told her. "You're not leaving until tommorrow!"

"No, how can I?" she asked, "I'm finally going to see Taylor again! I haven't seen him for 4 whole years!"

"You should have heard Kristi on the phone last night," Jessie laughed, "She was totally freaking out because you got to go see Taylor and she didn't!"

"Well, she never lived in Tulsa and never lived next door to him for 10 years!" Casey yelled, frowning.

"She would be happy if she was going to see her friend who she hasn't seen for 4 years too! I don't care if he's famous or not! He's still the Taylor I knew when I was 10!"

"Casey..." Jessie asked, unsure of herself. She hated it when Casey acted like this. She'd be really nice one minute, then the next, she'd be all ina rage. She was starting to wonder how she even became friends with her in the first place. Casey was more trouble than she was worth.

"Tay!" Casey yelled, "I'm leaving tommorrow morning!!"

"I can wait!" Tay exclaimed. "I can't believe it's been 4 years. Your parents said it wouldn't be that long!"

"I know," Casey darkly replied, suddenly angry at her parents for depriving her of seeing her friend for so long.

"Casey!" Taylor pleaded. He could kick himself for bringing that up. Casey had always had to have things her way, and she got upset at he smallest mentionings of things and stayed mad for a while. "Casey, I didn't mean that!"

"Fine!" Casey told him. "Taylor, I have to go finish packing. I'll see you tommorrow morning. My flight comes in at 11, Tulsa time."

"Hold on, I'll meet you at the airport. At flight gate 27, right?"

"Yeah, bye." Casey hung up. Dammit! Taylor thought. He should have known Casey would pull something like that. It didn't matter, though. He knew that when Casey saw him, she'd forget about it. He knew he'd be happy to see her! Oh, well, he thought. I can't speed up time, so I'll just watch TV.

'Load up on guns, and bring your friends,

It's fun to lose, and to pretend,

She's over bored, and self-assured,

Oh no, I know, a dirty word...'

Casey hummed along with the lyrics to her favorite song ever, 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana. It made her think of when Kurt died. She had run over to Tayor's house, crying, and he had sat with her for hours, listening to her talk about Kurt and how great he was, and pretty much everything he accomplished in life. Only Taylor would listen to her like that. Casey sighed. Remembering things like that made her realize how good of a friend Tay was to her. They stuck by each other for good times and the bad times. As all these thoughts ran through Casey's head, she got more and more excited about seeing him again. She was getting more and more anxious every minute.

As soon as the plane landed, Casey practically jumped out of her seat and ran to the door. Outside the flight gates, Casey spotted Taylor, Ike, Zac and Diana immediately.

"Oh my God!" she practically screamed, running over to him and giving him a huge hug. "Geez, I haven't seen you in sooooo long!" Casey was practically gushing over him, but at this point, she was too happy to even care.

"Casey, shut up, everyone's looking at us!" Tay told her.

"Sorry! Be like that!" Casey yelled.

"Casey, I didn't mean that!"

"Oh, it's OK!" Casey perked up and hugged him again.

That's a first, Tay thought to himself.

"C'mon," Ike told them, "Let's go to the baggage claim and get Casey's stuff."
