"Whoa, Tay..." Casey told him as Diana drove up to the Hanson's house. "Why the hell are there so many people here?"
"Fans." Tay replied, glumly.
"Tay, you always wanted to be famous?" Casey told him, although she was questioning herself.
"I know, it's cool, but the people who sit here by our house are just annoying. Sometimes, I can't even go outside!"
"That blows!" Casey yelled. "Sorry, Mrs. Hanson," she replied when Diana gave her a dirty look.
They got out of the car, and started to bring Casey's bags in. Casey looked across the street to some of the cars, and saw girls with dissapointed looks. Oh well, she thought. It really didn't matter to her. She was just happy to be back home in Tulsa, even though she wasn't at her house. Actually, it was better to be at Taylor's house, remembering the great times they had together.
"Casey, what could you possibly have in that bag that's so heavy?" Jessica complained, after trying to move one of Casey's bags to get into her dresser drawer.
"It's my hockey stuff!" Casey exlaimed. "I couldn't come here to visit you guys and not bring it! I always played hockey with your brother when we were younger. You know, when he always pouted because he couldn't score on me?" Casey laughed.
"Those were the best times of my life."
"Casey, you're only 14!" Jessie laughed at her. "How can you say that if you're not old?"
"Believe me, I'll be saying that when I'm old too." A knock on the door caused both Jessie and Casey to turn.
"Jess, Casey, we're going to have dinner now!" Taylor called, through the door.
"We're coming, Tay!" Casey cheerfully answered.
"So Casey, how was your time in New York?" Diana asked Casey at dinner.
"OK, I guess, but Tulsa's where I wish I stayed." Casey answered.
"How was your school?"
"OK, I became friends with a few people. Actually, no one really could stand me because I always talked about how much I hated New York, and how I wanted to go back to Tulsa to see Taylor." As soon as she said that, all the Hanson's laughed. They knew that was going to come out of Cassey's mouth sooner or later. "Of course, a few people almost died when they found out I was going to THE Hanson's house. They really like you guys!" Casey smiled.
"I guess." Taylor shrugged.
"Actually, their CD is selling well now," Walker added, proud of his sons' achievements.
"Cool, so is it like this every day, with people outside and stuff?"
"Sadly, yeah." Ike grimaced, "I mean, we like our fans and all, but this is a little to much to handle. People sitting there for hours, oe even days, to catcha glimpse of us. It's pretty scary when you think about it."
"Yuck!" Now Casey could understand why they were somewhat disgusted with these people. "I didn't know people were that obsessed with anyone!"
"Casey," Taylor told her, "You were like that with Kurt Cobain! You traveled everywhere to see him! You even went to his house in Seattle a few times."
"So!?" she answered, "That was Kurt, you're only Taylor!"
"But not everyone knows us as 'just' the Hansons. It's really hard to grasp sometimes."
"Tay!" Casey cried, "That wasn't fair! You can't stab the goalie!! Owww!"
"Sorry, Casey, but you know, I had to score a few times! Just to boost my ego!" Taylor told her, "Besides, you have padding on!"
"But that hurt, you dork!" she yelled, unaware of the looks some girls in cars still outside the house gave her. "Damn!"
"Casey, you're overreacting!" Tay came over and gave her a hug. The girls in the cars got an angry look, but at this point, they didn't care.
"Shut up, Tay, and let's just finish playing!" She shot the puck at him and it hit him in the stomach.
"Owwww!" he yelled.
"You deserved it, dumbass, hurry up!"
"Ok, you're gonna get it now, I'll kick your ass at hockey one of these days."
