"So, what happened after that?" Josh asked Casey as they sat in the waiting room at the hospital.
"Well, Tay ended up going out with Rach for a while, but decided she wasn't his type. She and I became really good friends, which was cool. We're a lot alike."
"Oh that's cool." Josh told her. "What about Tay?"
"Oh, he left soon after that, and I haven't really seen him since then. He's been recording a lot, touring in other countries, all that stuff. I didn't talk to him much lately, and now..." Casey trailed off as she started crying again.
"Don't worry, Casey, everything's going to be OK."
"No, it's not, don't you understand!?" Casey asked him, with a pained look on her face. "It's never going to be the same again."
"Excuse me?" a nurse interrupted them. "You can see Mr. Hanson now, he's in room 214."
Casey and Josh took an elevator to the 2nd floor and walked down the hallway. Casey was quietly sobbing the whole time they walked. She was finally going to see Tay again, but not the way she had planned.
Josh opened the door to the room to see Tay hooked up to many machines. Hospitals always scared him, he never liked all the machines and everything. It made people there look very sick when they had tons of needles stuck in them.
"Oh my god!" Casey choked out as she started sobbing hysterically and ran over to the side of his bed. "Tay!"
