Present Worked as a team member for the offshore
analysis and prototyping team of Safeway Time and Attendance System.
The project is concerned in converting the current system
implemented in various platforms, namely, IBM PC and IBM Series/1
platforms to an intranet, n-tier client-server infrastructure while
maintaining the functionality of the existing system. Tasks include
handling the derivation of functional specifications from the COBOL,
development of a running prototype in JSP using Visual Age for Java
3.02, also utilizing Visual Age’s team programming; and running it
under the WebSphere application server.

February 2000 – Apr
2000 Underwent a series of trainings in preparation for
the upcoming project under Safeway T&A development. The main
focus of the trainings is to have concrete understanding of web
technologies including the concepts of application servers,
servlets, Java implementations and on how to visualize these
concepts in the development of an N-Tier system that was made to
utilize DB2 and Peoplesoft technologies. Underwent technical
research on processing client side processes namely file uploading
using Perl, Java servlets and ASP. |
November 1999 – January 2000
Worked as team member
for the DIR Home Mortgage Management system development using Visual
Basic as front-end and MSSQL as back-end tools with Windows
NT/Japanese Windows as platforms. Tasks include developing an
application which uploads and converts data from text files into the
HoMMe database using VB and stored procedures, and revisions for the
System Maintenance application. Other functions include
documentations for the HoMMe System/DB listing of utilized stored
procedures and classes using MS Excel and VISIO. |
July 1999 – September 1999 Regular
Programmer
Worked as a team
member for the Tropitone project. Initial functions include setting
up of workstations for adapting with the incoming project, debugging
and optimizing of code of converted Oracle modules from the on-site
team using Visual Basic, MSSQL, and Internet Explorer 5. Tasks here
also include checking of SQL code, analysis of original Oracle
modules, and making use of Internet connection for Reflection
Sessions (TelNet) to review screen functions. |
