Heaven is Easy as ABC

THEO'S GUIDE TO SALVATION

When you think of sin, what do you think of? Is it stealing money from your mom's purse? Maybe you had too much to drink at a party? How about even stealing a pencil from a classmate? All of these are considered sin according to God. Who hasn't done anything wrong in their lives? Every single person on this earth (except Jesus Christ) has fallen short of the glory of God.

Regardless of the fact that we are sinners, God loves each and every one of us. He is a loving and caring God who loves each and every person he's created. That's why God sent Jesus to this Earth to save us from all of our wrongdoings. Christ not only saves us from our sins, but also from the guilt and shame in our lives - whether past, present, or future! It's so easy to do... follow these easy steps.

A Accept

Once you accept Christ as Lord and Savior, you are promised eternal life in heaven. Though you will continue to sin on Earth, you will still be forgiven of any sin you commit. Heaven is the place where you will have already checked into, upon accepting Christ, but there will be NO checking out. Heaven is a place for eternal peace and happiness, and best of all, get to spend time with our Lord Jesus Christ.

It all starts out with a simple prayer...

Lord Jesus, please forgive me of all of my sins - past, present, and future. Lord Jesus, Come into my heart, and I accept you Lord and Savior. Amen!

B Believe

Believe that Jesus is the Lord of your life, and that he died on the cross for our sins.

C Commit

After the first two steps, you'll need to make a commitment in your life to Christ by living a life that discourages wrongdoing. Yes, we a all slip up from time to time, but you'll need to make sure you live a life that is most like Christ every day of our lives on Earth. (For example, WWJD or What Would Jesus Do?)

Being commited to Christ does not mean being "religious". Actually, it is not a religion, but a personal relationship! He will be with you always. He will never leave you or forsake you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life.
