Sometimes here in this virtual world of ours
We meet someone that touches us deeply within
Someone who can tell just what we feel in our souls
What we think and mostly what we need to make us whole
It is so very rare to find such a special person
Even in our "real life" in the everyday living life
But here we can be who we are we have no reason to hide
We can let them see the person, the soul inside of us
For looks are not what we see when we meet and speak here
Our words here can be heard thru voice chat this is true
But most of the time they are just felt with the heart
Through reading the type written messages to one another
We share our deepest emotions and feelings freely with others
Without reservation or fear that someone might laugh
Or that they can see the tears or a shy funny smile on our face
But with this we also let them see the depths our hearts
And many times we have the heart silently stollen from us
We are all here looking for something or someone
That small or big part of us that is missing out of our lives
Through our virtual travels here we also find the reality
That this virtual world can be very hurtful and painful to us
Sometimes even more painful than the real world we try to escape
This is what I found out after meeting you and loving you here
So now..Every night at bedtime I search the darkness of my life
Looking to find answers or something .. anything .. a simple shred
That will tell me why you did this to me..to us... to our hearts
The many lies.. The deception .. The betrayal ..The rejection
Why?.. I will never understand what was the purpose of it all?
I don't know.. but every night I hug my pillow tightly and cry
And ask why..feeling empty inside all I can find are tears
Loneliness, Turmoil, Confusion and finally exhausted falling asleep
With the sobs in my throat and nothing more in my broken heart
Than the "Purest Of Pain"....
