This is what's left of the Atlantis.
It's a concrete ship that was commissioned for WW1 because of
a shortage of steel. It wasn't too much later that it
was decommissioned because it was too slow and too heavy.
It was going to be used at Cape May as a ferry landing, but,
it broke away from it's moorings during a storm.
On June 8, 1926, it was grounded and sunk off of the Cape May Point.
It's great to see during a sunset, but, when we were there,
it was very foggy. So, I didn't get to see the sunset,
but the fog was cool too.
