This lighthouse is in South Carolina on Sullivan's Island.
It was built in 1962 by the Coast Guard, and is the
last lighthouse built by the US government. I don't know who thought up
the strange shape, or what the reason for it is, but, it sure is
interesting to see. And, no, I didn't get to climb it!!!!
