1) Q: What kind of music do you listen to? What are your favorite bands?
A: I like all different types. The Tragically Hip, Metallica, Jay-Z, etc.
2) Q: I have read in press releases that you majored in economics at U.M. You said that one day you'd like to take that major to your advantage. What would you like to do?
A: One day I would like to own my own business.
3) Q: How big of an inspiration is/was Red Berenson on your hockey career?
A: He is someone who I have a great deal of respect for. He knows how to challenge you and make you do your best.
4) Q: Did you play any other sports growing up? If so, what made you choose hockey?
A: Baseball, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball-hockey was the most fun.
5) Q: Out of the 28 teams in the NHL, which team do you look forward to playing the most? Why?
A: I used to like to play the Rangers b/c I idolized Wayne Gretzky growing up.
6) Q: When you played for Michigan, how good did it feel when fans held up signs saying things like "Hobey Baker Plays Tonight"?
A: It was very humbling. We had the best fans at Michigan.
7) Q: Was it painful to leave Michigan on a sour note (losing to Boston University) after 4 wonderful years there?
A: It was very disappointing but overall I had an unbelievable 4 yrs. there.
8) Q: Do you have any pets? If so, what kind of animals and what are their names?
A: No I don't.
9) Q: I read in the paper that at the beginning of the season when you and Patty remained unsigned that the both of you went to play in Czech. Patty said that you guys became good close friends. He showed you around and he also said that you know some pretty bad Czech words. What, in your opinion, is Patty's best quality as an individual?
A: Patty is a very down to earth person who is very generous. He is so laid back and easy to get along with.
10) Q: I have heard coaches, players, and your mother speak out on you. Please, describe yourself.
A: I am a person who is also laid back and generous. I always find time for people and I haven't changed at all since I was a little kid.
