Scott stoped the car right outside the main building. He turned off the engine and turned to me. I looked around nervously, hoping no one from the school would notice me with a pop star.
'Are you sure you don't want to visit home?' he asked, trying to pull of a puppy dog face.
'Scott' I said irritated 'We went over this already, take Autumn'
'What about the 3 of us go?' he asked hopefully.
'No Scott' I hissed through my teeth 'I have to go'
'Wait' he grabbed my arm just as I was getting out of the car 'Are we friends?'
I knew that if I protested, I would never hear the end of it from him, I looked down at his hand holding onto my arm, remembering the pain of his arm when he held it the day we broke up.
'Scott, I really have to go' I said quietly and wiggled my hand from his. I couldn't see his reaction as I scrambled out of the car.
I walked into the house and slammed the door behind me. Quickly after Becky appeared in the room with a questionable face.
'Whats wrong?' she asked.
'He hates me!' I exclaimed near tears 'He hates me cause I hate Ali, he hates me cause I don't trust him, he hates me cause I'm the stupid Amanda that doesn't know how to shut her mouth!!!'
'Aww, I guess he fooled me when he gave us the impression of liking you' Becky said smiking.
'Its not funny!' I yelled and lied down on the couch 'He doesn't want to talk to me ever!'
'Did he say that?'
'No, I could see it' I mumbled in reply.
'Amanda, chill out, you're taking it too seriously'
'Where you going?' I asked noticing Becky was putting on her coat.
'Auditions for a video' she said handing me a flyer 'Wanna come along?'
I looked it over than closed my eyes, fearing I may start crying again. Becky sat beside me and sighed
'Amanda, get over it, look at me' she said with a laugh 'Sean is a wonderful lad, but the boy is the laziest thing I have ever seen! I live with it!'
'But you've know him for a day' I grumped.'How do you know he's that lazy'
'I can see through people' she replied 'C'mon, come with me for moral support!'
'Alright' I sighed and slowly got up 'Might as well bury my sorrows in a room full of perfect figured girls with better lives than me'
'Thats the spirit!!'
I ran into the pub, quickly noticing Liz I ran over to her.
'I need something strong...vodka would be good!' I told her. Liz looked up at me than smiled 'Thats nice Autumn...grapefruit juice it is'
'I'm serious Liz, I'm stressed out, vodka will do the trick'
'Vodka will do more than that trick' Liz laughed, she poured the juice in a glass and handed it to me
'Don't tell me you're freaking about Scott and Mel?'
'Is it that obvious?' I asked as I gulped down the juice.
'Autumn!' Liz exclaimed irritated 'You really need to just relax, Mel has no intention of taking him away from you'
'What if he wants her?'
'I swear, you're just so stubborn' Liz mumbled 'How about you just take out Scott, somewhere romantic and show him something Mel doesn't have'
'Money?' I asked laughing.
'You show that on the 6th date' Liz replied snickering 'Anyways, just show him good time, fill his head with thoughts of you'
'I guess you're right....' I said thoughtfully 'Ok, I'll do it, thanks mate!'
'Anytime!' Liz yelled out as I ran out of the pub.
