'Is everyone here?' Simon yelled, trying to top everyone's side conversations.
'Yea!' J yelled back.
We were all sitting on a private jet that the record company could finally afford. Sean sat next to me, while J sat on his side with Liz. Behind us was Amanda and Ritch and to their side was Scott and Autumn. While all the way at the back was Mel and Abs who seemed to be involved in a deep conversation.
'Why do you keep looking back at them?' Liz asked as she took Sean's seat for a moment.
'I don't know' I replied with a sigh 'I guess I'm curious...I can't believe she just ignore us like this'
'It won't last long' Liz shrugged 'Sometime today she'll miss having us to talk to...I mean is Abs that interesting?'
I looked back once more at them and took a deep breath 'Well...atleast she's here'
'Against all Autumn's wishes' Liz scoffed. I chuckled under my breath and glanced at Autumn and Scott who were sitting silently.
'Ritch...were taking off' I said quietly, taking Ritch's hand.
'Don't worry, it only lasts a few minutes' He assured me.
I squeezed his hand tighter as the plane got higher. The seat belt sign disappeared and everyone jumped out of their seats except for me and Ritch.
'Uhh...Amanda...would you mind if you could kind of loosen your grip' Ritch asked, trying not to shriek from pain. I looked at him confused then realized I was squeezing his hand...tight.
'Oh sorry' I giggled nervously 'I'm just nervous..about this trip...about the plane...about everything'
'You shouldn't be' He said and kissed me on the forehead 'I'll show you good time'
'Can you believe my mother didn't believe me that I was going to New York?!' I exclaimed with laughter 'She thought that the money she was sending me for college was going to nothing'
Abs chuckled at me then became silent 'Your relationship with your parents isn't so good eh?'
'Not really...' I replied 'Ever since I began feeling independent they felt they've lost their daughter...plus I began getting defensive about everything'
'Oh thank God thats gone!' Abs laughed sarcastically.
'Yea, well' I giggled 'Ugh...why do they keep looking at us'
Abs glanced at where Becky and Sean sat and noticed Becky's eyes on us.
'Will you ever talk to her?' he asked.
'Abs, we went over this' I sighed 'I only came to show them that I am strong...'
'So where does the part of you not talking to them fall into this part?'
'They had problems with me and never told me...why should I tell them anything now'
Abs nodded and leaned back in his seat 'Well, if you can pull this off than I wish you luck'
'Thanks cause I'll need it' I said quietly and looked back at Becky who glanced back at me.
