Autumn and Scott did not come down. I waited in the lobby for atleast 20 minutes before decideding to go up and check on them. I stepped out of the elevator and walked through the long passive hallway. Immedietly I spotted Scott, sitting on the floor outside of Autumn's room. He was dazing at his hands absently.
'Scott' I called out making him look up at me 'What are you doing here?'
Scott blinked at me, he was pratically staring past me. I took a seat by him and glanced at him questionably.
'Its over' He murmured 'Everything is over'
'What's over?' I asked confused. His head laid back, resting against the wall, he let out a loud sigh.
'Me and Autumn...'
'You...' I gasped, I knew they were having some problems but never thought it would end like this.
'Where is she?' I asked after gathering my thoughts.
Scott raised his hand and pointed at the door by us. I rose from the floor and tried to open the door but it was locked. I remembered I had a spare key to their room in my room. After returning with it I opened the door. Autumn was sleeping quietly on her bed. I could see she was crying hard from the red cheeks and the puffed up eyes. I covered her with a blanket and closed the door behind me.
'Is she okay?' Scott asked.
'She's sleeping' I told him 'There isn't much you can do right now'
Scott ran his fingers through his hair and nodded, he looked really stressed out.
'You should get some sleep too' I patted him 'You wouldn't want to look like a bum tomorrow for the video'
'I guess' He shrugged 'Where is everyone else?'
'They left already' I explained 'I offered to wait for you guys but...'
He nodded understandingly 'I'm sorry about that'
'Its okay' I waved my hand at him 'There are other nights'
He nodded again and sighed. His hand dropped to his side as he began walking away.
'Scott' I called after him, he quickly turned around 'I'm a good listener...do you need one now?'
He smiled thankfuly at me before gesturing a yes.
'We...We, We Like To Party' I sang to myself as we entered the club. The line to a club must had a span of about 2 miles but of course RCA has good connections.
'This is wicked!' Sean exclaimed as the loud music filled our ears.
I followed J who was going straight for the bar.
'I'm watching you Jason' I warned him 'If I see you drunk then you know what will happen, right?'
'You'll hold my head back in the bathroom?' He asked before chuckling to himself 'Don't worry Lizzie, I'll be alright'
'We'll just see that' I warned again. Becky and Melanie reached us by now.
'This is more like it!' Becky yelled grabbing a glass of some liquid that was on the bar.
'Becky calm down!' I told her, pulling her back from the bar.
'Liz this ain't your problem!' She yelled, jerking herself away from me, soon disappearing from my view.
'Can you watch out for Becky?' I asked Mel, she turned around away from Ritch and looked at me as if I was crazy.
'Liz, I got better things to do then watch that whacko'
'Fine' I mumbled 'I'll do it myself'
'If you see Amanda anywhere tell me okay?' Ritch said, I nodded and he walked away. I ordered myself another shot of margarita and took a good look around the club.
The floor was packed, the bar was packed, even the dj booth was packed. Out of all the crowds Abs appeared. He began walking towards me very quickly and in a matter of seconds he stood beside me.
'Come dance' He said, taking a hold of my hand and dragging me over to the dance floor.
'What about my drink?' I asked, trying to struggle away from him.
'I'll buy a hundred more' He assured me, taking my other arm now too.
We reached the middle of the dance floor and I was surrounded by people with no way out but body surf.
'Why are you so stiff?' Abs asked seeing that I was not moving at all to the music.
'I need alcohol to relax' I explained and began heading back but he prevented me from it.
'What you need is a good dance partner'
I forced myself to smile, to accept his offer. But his every word was getting to me. It was a constant annoyance. By the middle of the song I could not stand to watch him. I could not explain this sudden irritation towards him, all I knew was that for some reason I longed for Scott.
I woke to a throbing headache. I turned to eyes to the clock that stood on the night stand beside the bed. The image of the hour was blurred and took few minutes before I could actually read it. 11:47... I must have been asleep for 4 hours.
I slid of the bed and cautiously walked into the bathroom, trying very hard not fall from the spinning image. I splashed some cold water on my face and tied my hair back. I walked out onto the hallway, checked the room next door. It was empty, everyone must have left for the club. Would Scott leave too? My curiousity pulled me upstairs to his room. I hesitated before knocking.
'I shouldn't be here' I thought, no answer came. He must have left. Through the cracks of the door I could see light radiating from the inside. Someone must be there. I pushed the door slightly open then suddenly stopped. My mouth opened half way as I stared at what was unfolding in front of me. I watched as Amanda's hand's wondered from Scott's shoulders to his face. He turned around to face her and they sat there momentarily looking at each other. Amanda leaned in as did Scott. Quickly after their lips met. Out of all the people, it had to be her. I shook my head trying to clear my mind. I wanted to run but my feet seemed to be stuck to the floor as my body went numb.
