I knew something was coming. It was in the air. I saw Ritch storm out of his dressing room quickly followed by frantic Amanda. She grabbed onto his arm and tried to pull him close to her but he was much stronger and just shook her off, sending her to the ground. As a loud thump came from her body, Scott jumped up from his seat. Before he could get to Amanda, Ritch attacked him with full on fists.
'Break it up!' Chris yelled, pulling them apart 'Stop it!!'
His voice roared through the set and by then everyone had gathered around. I saw Melanie's shocked face and Abs's worried expression.
'What is this about?' Chris demanded 'I thought you two were best friends!'
'Best friends don't steal girlfriends!' Ritch yelled, squirming out of Chris's grip. 'I trusted you! I trusted her!'
'I think I'll speak for all when I'll ask what are you talking about!!' J's irritated face showed up in the midst of the people.
'Well' Ritch smoothed out his hair 'My supposedly loyal girlfriend should explain this, why don't you Amanda?'
All eyes turned to Amanda who was standing on the side still looking shocked as she did when Ritch jumped on Scott.
'Amanda?' Liz stepped forward, her expression said it all, she wanted answers.
'I kissed Scott' Amanda admitted, her head lowered as she spoke yet no one replied to her confession.
'You beat Scott for that?!' I spat at Ritch 'Even I didn't touch Sean after he humped that girl in the bathroom!'
Ritch shot me an annoyed look and turned to Amanda 'Tell them the rest'
Amanda looked up at him pleadingly but he ignored it. She sighed heavily and cleared her throat 'I love Scott'
Then the crowd gasped, the first face I looked at was Mel's. She was standing by J, almost supporting herself on his arm. She was gazing from Amanda to Scott in disbelief.
'I love her too' Scott blurted out 'I'm sorry'
'You bloody bastard!' Ritch roared jumping back at him.
'Oh God' I moaned, slapping my forehead 'These people can't make up their minds!'
'Stop it!' J yelled, jumping on Ritch and pulling him away 'Just stop!'
'I had enough of this!' Chris yelled, stepping in 'I am tired of feeling like a baby sitter for this group! This shoot is postponed till tomorrow, I don't want the fans catching you fighting in your video. Everyone is to go to the hotel and STAY there!’
I watched as the crowd cleared. Ritch stood staring at the ground, his chest breathing heavily. He finally looked up, not at me, he turned away and left my sight. Scott soon followed. I noticed Melanie lingering around. Through all this time I haven't realized how many people will be involved in this.
'Amanda' Chris pulled me aside 'I recommend you stay away from Ritch for a while'
'Why?' I asked, feeling so guilty.
'I don't think you want to make this any worse...if it's over then let him deal with it on his own' He patted me on the hand and walked away. I stood momentarily, pondering his words.
'Is it really over' I murmured to myself.
'Wow!' Liz gasped 'Where was I not to see that coming?'
'The club' Autumn replied, she appeared out of nowhere, her arms crossed across her chest with a mischief grin.
'You knew about this?!' I exclaimed.
'I walked in on them kissing' She told me calmly. 'I had the same reaction'
'Why didn't you tell us?' Liz demanded.
Autumn shrugged 'Its between them three not us'
'You could have stopped this you know' Liz mumbled 'I hate this vacation'
'Look on the bright side...' Autumn grinned as she turned to me 'None of us got him'
'Sorry Mel' Liz patted me after Autumn left. I looked over where Amanda was standing, she had her head in her arms and from distance I could see she was crying.
'I have to talk to her' I said to one in particular and walked over to her.
'Amanda' I touched her shoulder gently. She jumped up from the fright, looking at me hopelessly with teary eyes.
'I'm sorry!' She sobbed, jumping at my neck and hugging me tightly 'I'm so sorry'
'For what?' I laughed slightly.
'This whole thing...it's all my fault!' She sniffled 'I tried so hard to ignore this but I can't help the way I feel about him, he makes me feel so different.'
I don't think I could have said it better then that about Scott, he was something different alright.
'Now they hate each other' she continued 'Ritch hates me, probably you hate me!'
'No' I admitted it truthfully 'Actually I'm glad'
She looked up at me confused 'Why?'
'Cause Autumn didn't have him'
Amanda giggled, she wiped the tears of her cheeks and took a deep breath
'Mel, I know he loves you-'
'No' I stopped her, know where she was heading 'He loves you Amanda, go for it'
She shifted her weight deciding whether to prove her point, finally she smiled sheepishly 'Thank you Melanie' She whispered 'For everything'
