I listened as Sean poured his heart out about the stresses of pop stardom and the ups and downs of group life. I tried to cut in to comfort him but he just kept on going, maybe after all he just had to get it all out. Suddenly he stopped and smiled sweetly.
'Im sorry, I must be talking too much about me' he laughed 'Its just so good to talk to someone other than J'
I scratched my forehead trying to remember who J was.
'J...my bandmate...best mate, the one who has a thing for your friend' Sean reminded me after seeing I had trouble remembering.
'Oooh...J'
'Yea, but enough of me....what do you do for living' he asked focusing his eyes on me.
'Other than waitressing?' I laughed under my nose 'Just trying to get something out of my hobbies'
'Which are?'
'Just nonsense' I shrugged it off.
'It can't be nonsense if you put an effort in it' he said, crossing his eyes into a deeper look.
'Its pure nonsense...what my dreams are...' I said quietly, not expecting him to hear it.
'Mel...Mel...do you see him?' I whispered.
'It depends, who you're looking for?' a voice came from up above (not heaven)
I looked up, expecting Mel's slim figure, instead there stood a tall built up man. I slowly got up from the floor.
'Hello "waitress"' he smirked.
'J' I mumbled 'I figured you would find me'
'Its destiny, isn't it'
'Its bad luck'
'Do you come here often?' He asked as I took my seat by the bar.
'Only when I'm doing my research on apes'
'Are you always this mean?'
I sighed loudly and turned to him 'Didn't you get the point? I'm not interested!'
Even though my tone was loud, J didn't seem to budge.
'Obviously you didn't get the point' I mumbled.
'I'll leave only after I'll find out your name' he finally said.
I hesitated for a moment, its the only way to get rid of him 'Liz'
'That wasn't so hard. Nice to meet you Liz' he said taking my hand and kissing it.
'I'll see you later' he said and walked off.
'Finally!!' I clapped my hands triumphal.
I finally pushed my way through the crowds and began walking towards the exit door.
Suddenly something jumped out of the corner just right at me.
'Scott!' I shrieked 'You scared me!'
Scott laughed his head off at me 'You should have seen your face!'
'Wait till you see your face once I get to you!' I exclaimed and made a run for him.
He dashed through the exit door, downstairs to the parking. I finally caught up with him, jumping on him.
'Not the hair not the hair!!!' he yelled. I slipped off of his back and kissed him.
'What was that for?' he asked with a grin.
'Just for being here with me' I replied and kissed him again, losing ourselves in the passionate moment.
'Are you stalking me or something?' I asked irritated.
'Ha! You wish!' Abs who was standing in front of me laughed rudely 'I should be asking you that...besides how did you get in, don't you have to be someone to get in'
If I wouldn't have heels maybe I would jump at him and push him over the railing, instead I stood there motionless.
Abs let out a quiet sigh 'God' he mumbled 'I'm sorry...what are you doing here anyways?'
I took a seat on the steel bench near by 'My friend got an invitation from her lad'
Abs took a seat by me 'How about we start over?' He handed me his hand 'I'm Abs'
I looked at his hand than at him with a hesitant look...should I give a chance to a jerk?
'I'm Melanie...' I gave a weak smile while shaking his hand.
'I just got one question' Abs said 'Are you always so crampy towards strangers'
I let out a quiet laugh, lowering my head I replied 'Only when they bump into me in freezing rain and don't apologize'
'Really, I don't know anyone like that' Abs laughed sarcastically.
