Addict
Do you hate yourself?
Did you want to die?
Or did you just do it for the high?
Are you unhappy?
What goes through your mind,
When you sniff it up your nose the first time?
Is there a reason?
When you started getting high,
Did you picture an addiction and think it was a lie?
Are you sorry?
Did you know it all along
That down the road it would all go terribly wrong?
Do you like life this way?
Wondering what to do
Having something superficial controlling you.
Is that who you are?
Someone who will lie and steal
Deceive, betray, just to alter how you feel?
Do you want to stop?
Or will you keep on tempting fate
Until it finally leads you through Heaven's Gate?
Is it worth it?
Feeling like you do
Even if it's destroying the one who truly loves you?
Do you love me?
I don't want to hear another lie
Or sit alone and cry while I wait for you to die.
Do you think about it?
Your body shutting down,
Leaving me alone while you lay underground?
