PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
ALL YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE:
  • pH meter (you may obtain from your local high school or any online science supplier.) 
  • three (3) plastic collection containers
  • buffer solution
  • map of your state
 Grades 5 & up in schools anywhere, are welcome to participate! There is no fee!  This project will run from February through April with the actual experiment taking place March 1, 2002 through April 5, 2002.  Participants must be able to collect rain samples during three (3) or more rainfalls, (click HERE to determine your area's rain patterns), and measure the pH level (preferably with a meter) to the nearest tenth.

PROJECT SCHEDULE
February 18 - March 1, 2002 Project Starts!  Please submit Letters of Introduction.  Click HERE for guidelines.
