A Forever Friend
Friends come in and out of your life all the time,
but only a forever friend will stay for all time.
Friends will promise to always be there for you,
but only a forever friend will be that loyal and true.
Some friends for reasons fight and drift apart,
a forever friend may fight but won't break your heart.
Some friends will tell you just call and I'll be there,
a forever friend will call you just to say I really care.
Friends will care and listen when you are sad,
a forever friend wipes your tears when they get bad.
Some friendships end because of he said she saids,
a forever friendship will last until the day we are dead.
