A Sister's Love
At one time your life was going downhill,
as you recall you could barely pay your bills.
I opened up my heart and offered to help you,
I wanted you to start over and become a better you.
You always wanted a home you can call your own so,
I did my part to make that dream a reality for you.
We both knew it was gonna take some time,
but you acted as though patience was a crime.
I loved you enough to help you as much as I could,
but good things come to those who wait,
is something that you never understood.
You finally decided that you quit and wouldn't even try,
It really hurt and sadened me, it even made me cry.
Now you are back to where you were before,
tell me is it worth it to have nothing anymore?
I feel as if I failed you as a sister but
in my heart I know I did all I can do to help you.
It was your decision to let it all go,
and return to the only life you know.
my love for you will always be true,
no matter what I'll be there for you.
I hope you find happiness and your dreams come true,
and I hope you always remember a sister's love for you.
