my very first electric bass was a
TEISCO KB-200
in mid-sixties madison tn. (roger ferguson had a kent bass at the same time, so we called each other "teisco" and "kent.")
i used this cheap beauty on all the combo gigs i played, especially with the taxmen . here's me with it
(bluegrass country club, hendersonville circa 1966).



it most likely is heard (buried in the mix!) on any high school tape recordings of the era. don't recall if the teisco was a gift from dad, or if i bought it myself (fergon might know). and have no idea whatever happened to her. she was my girl.
