Amanda woke up in the morning. She went to the answering machine and pressed the play button.
"Hey, Amanda. It's Brian. Guess your asleep already. I was wondering if you would go to the club with me? Call me back in the morning."
Message 2- "Hi, it's Brian again. I forgot to give you my phone number. It's 555-3273." (Author's Note: The # is made up.)
*Meanwhile*
Stephanie was worrying what she was going to wear to go shopping with Amanda. All of a sudden the phone rang.
"Hello?" Stephanie said. "Hi. It's Amanda. You won't believe what just happened." Amanda said. "What happened?" "Brian asked me to go to the club." "Oh my god, girl you are good. You just met Monday. What time are we going to the mall?" "11:30."
*Later*
Stephanie and Amanda went to the mall and saw Katelyn.
"Hi, Katelyn." Stephanie said. "Hi." Katelyn said. "Let's look for outfits!" Amanda said.
Amanda bought a lavender tube top with khaki capri pants. Stephanie bought the same thing but the top was baby blue. Katelyn bought a blue tank top and white hip-huggers.
"I need to get new shoes, want to come with me?" Amanda asked. "No. I'm going over Katelyn's." answered Stephanie.
When Amanda got home, A.J. was there.
Amanda asked, "Why are you here?" "What? Is it illegal for me to visit my cousin." AJ said. "Well, no but I just wasn't expecting you. By the way, what was wrong last night?" "Nothing, it's just that I wanted to ask your friend, Stephanie, to dance but Nick asked first. I'm mad at him now." "Are you okay?" "Yeah. Hey, Brian told me he had enough courage to ask you out. So tonight your going to the club." "Yeah! Want to see my outfit that I'm going to wear?" "Sure." "Wow, Amanda! You look really nice. Do you think Stephanie would want to go with me to the club?" "Yeah. She told me that she sorta likes you." "Really?! I gotta go now. Bye." "Bye, A.J."
