*The next night*
Brian and Amanda arrived at the club at about 7:00. When they went inside, they spotted Katie and Howie. They sat down and started talking, when Amanda's ex-boyfriend, JC came over.
"Can I speak with Amanda for a moment, privately?" he asked.
Amanda sighed and then she followed him outside.
"JC, what do you want?" Amanda asked with an attitude. "I want you." JC replied to her. "I have a boyfriend. Leave me alone."
Then JC pulled her closer. She was trying to get away but JC wouldn't let go.
"Let me go." Amanda said. "No! I won't."
Just then, JC pushed her. She tripped and fell. She felt a sudden rush of pain in her left ankle.
"Ow! That hurt. JC, why did you do that?" "I don't know." "Go get Brian. Now!"
JC left and went back inside. A couple minutes later, Brian came running out the door with Howie and Katie following.
"Amanda, what happened?" Brian asked as he got to her side. "JC pushed me. I tripped and fell and now my ankle hurts like crazy." "I'm going to take you to the hospital." "Thanks, Brian."
